  1. This is my point whether it’s constitutional or not, the orders in place are what will be enforced ….potential charges would have to be fought in court… at one’s own expense as we know gun owners are always guilty first in nj…..hoping that the rights groups get all the nonsense dropped quickly for you guys before someone get jammed up by their onerous bs and I was sure that it was more than just ocean county that were requiring the orders being carried … but following this on 4 different forums so perhaps I’ve seen those letters on other forums …
  2. I agree with the statement and there were at least one I saw that had no restriction checked but accompanying court order with restrictions including letter must be carried
  3. Scroll back through all the posts where people posted their court orders said only firearms listed can be carried..and said person was to have court order and permit on them when carrying…not saying it’s right or legal..but until it’s challenged and shot down it’s “the rules”…. Would hate to be the first one that civilly disobeyed and gets hemmed up…nj coffers are deeper than most average joes bank account for court processes just like the other firearm processes there’s a lot of differences from location to location no real consistency aside from procrastination/stalling/slowing process
  4. I was sure I read in the 112 pages several peoples letters stating must be carried along with permit… so another inconsistency, then if you’re not carrying the court order papers saying which pistols you’re granted permission from the overlords to carry is that not an issue?
  5. So a serious question…. You guys have to carry that/those pages as well as the permit correct? Assuming it would breed to be originals not copies…. How does one carry those without them degrading? Mens European carryall?
  6. Under the new legislation I do not believe so…..unless it was posessed prior to 6/30/2022
  7. As long as your not driving or a passenger in/on a Motorized vehicle (dependant on agency/judge) not in a Resturant that is licensed to sell alcohol (again dependant) on public transportation (again dependant) no malls or business without permission? ….and must be carrying a card and an 8.5”X11” piece of paper ….. so you can ride a bike to? ….. well where can you carry? Park? Probably not…. Seemingly it definately allows you to carry while getting your mail from your box in front of your house lol
  8. A nonresident applicant I know we’ll have me his dates fingerprinted - 8/9/22 identigo willow grove pa submitted to Woodstown state police- 8/15/22 references called - 9/25-26-27 one each day.. not missed calls etc Money order not cashed as of 10/7/22 no letters emails or other attempts of contact to him directly from any agency/court etc
  9. Kind of odd that there’s no photo on the permits isn’t there typically a photo on concealed carry licenses?
  10. All the nonesense was set up to be as complex and arduous as possible to deter as many people as possible from even trying… then those that pushed forward there were plenty of means to deny then creating/ spreading the fear of repercussion of denial in the hopes it would end up as it did no one applying except for the occasional dreamer they would have to waste their time going through the process of denying formally. It all needs to just stop and the process should be similiar to that of numerous other states that are doing it the only “reasonably restricted” way above the constitution…single page application a criminal/mental/domestic check performed by that agency issue if not a prohibited person …period, paragraph! Like pa for example ..my wife has her de cc license … we went to a pa sheriffs office single page app, told her to have a seat the deputy ran her, took her pic made the card out the door … all told 15 min process once started … there were half a dozen people there each the same… I think it was $20……… Not sent pony express to various inefficient agencies around the state…. That is all part of the old plan…. It’s all online the camels nose is under the tent now…. Cut the crap
  11. I completely agree, and I may be in the minority, but I think that every person regardless of their employment has the right to carry without all the stupid stuff that you have to jump through, all the arbitrary requirements etc All of it is nonsensical BS ….. as strong as my belief and respect of the constitution..my opinion may stray from the original wording in that my only requirement would be …as long as you’re not a person prohibited from owning a firearm, you should be able to carry one concealed or open. If that’s your choice it shouldn’t be a requirement to qualify out to X number of yards etc. not everyone I work with shares that opinion however
  12. New Jersey as most of on here should be well aware believes that they are a country in and of itself, and can make up their own rules and disregard federal law as well as constitutional precident…. I have personally been hassled in New Jersey or more than once north central and south by those thinking that regardless of 218 one must have a permission slip from New Jersey.
  13. That is correct, I asked him why bother.. he said 2 parts 1 he wanted to see them deny him, 2 to have a year 1 nj permit as a collectable….. not sure why some people are so pissed off seems as though the more people applying/issued the better I know of several people that are able to carry nationwide due to employment that have applied… in case people didn’t know…not every NJ cop knows the minutia of the carry rules under the federal statues, and more than a few have had issues when carrying in nj and contact with nj leo..
  14. Yes he did, and I’m sure he would invite you to lead the way on your suggestions….
  15. Odd the fbi guys I know and shoot with are issued federal…..but I haven’t seen them in a couple months so I googled in Jan 2022 the contracts went to federal &speer https://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2022/01/07/federal-and-speer-ammunition-awarded-prestigious-fbi-contracts/amp/
  16. Well answer me this HONESTLY if not banned by the NJ overlords would you still chose it? also then why when such restrictions are not a factor and extensive testing is done by whole divisions of testing it’s not selected by ANY agency? I get it just like the kid in high school who only had an old maverick hooptie car and other kids had new mustangs and novas /chevelles he took pride in his car polished the hubcaps and said it was just as good as theirs but reality is what it is lol
  17. I mean it’s great they are finally letting permits be issued…but to limit people to poor performing ammo is not right either…flies in opposition to.the whole “in common use” thing
  18. Another question…..so are the permit holders allowed to actually carry effective Ammo that is less likely to over penetrate or do you guys have to carry fmj or some other almost 20 year old technology like pow’rball or the efmj crap?
  19. I have a “friend” that applied for a non resident to the woodstown state police barracks back in July, just for fun as he works for a federal agency and walked into the barracks with 2 weapons on him…..the references were just called 1 each day yesterday being the finaL … as opposed to one right after the other? the money order still not cashed
  20. Seems like someone ended up on the wrong forum lol but to answer your multiple rhetorical questions….yes to all and “reasonable limits” are a means to restrict and deny inalienable rights
  21. So what happens when they sit on them for a prolonged period of time…then begin to begrudgingly process at a glacial speed and get to an application where the time window of that document has expired in Delaware I believe the fingerprint/background portion is only good for xx number of days….will they kick it back saying “invalid xx document need to resubmit” ? Did anyone get a receipt when filing showing the date it was submitted? They did that in Delaware when I helped my wife with hers.
  22. The group of infringements will be signed into law as they’re turning off the lights at the end of this session June 30th…. Returning in January by then plenty will have surrendered their legally owned property to avoid prosecution
