  1. Well, considering the extremely limited availability, I dont think you will have much of a choice.
  2. Ahhhhh Nat Sherman is like a candy store for me..
  3. Some idiot politician and and lawyers came up with that mumbo jumbo...WTF?? How the hell can the average person know all that crap?? Seriously, Hunting a friggin bear with 1 shot???Are they for real??
  4. Keltec just sent me a newly designed front stock to test out. They added structural supports to it to give is some more strength for the use of vertical for grips. I will be testing it soon and report back... Original new one side by side comparison
  5. Yesi heard they dropped the line this year. Also if you look on Gunbroker all you find is the 9mm and 40 cal.
  6. Here is mine, I ordered the shroud kit, which IMHO it NEEDS to look better, and the front rail kit which also IMHO the gun should come with...That is the Sig Stoplight, laying below in the position it will be in when i get the rail kit. Do you guys thing the sig light it too big for the gun? Or does it look ok?
  7. Now THAT is SEXY!!! From the video it seems to have more recoil than I expected it to have. WOW...
  8. Is it any coincidence that oil refineries and importers slowed production, yet had record profits in the past few years. Coincidentally during a time of uprising and war in the largest oil producing and importing region of the world...Then only 2 weeks after off shore drilling started back up off the coast of the US BP happens to coincidentally have an "accidental explosion" resulting in the worst oil spill in US history?? Hmmmm....
  9. The barrel shroud just makes it look a little more EVIL....Mwuhahahahahah!!! I just ordered the shroud and the bottom rail kit, the slide out rail in the gun is useless IMHO. Im gonna use the stock sights and utilize the lazer sight on my Sig Sauer Stoplight for close range. I love the fact that I can set it up to eject the rounds on the left side!!
  10. It is a nice gun!! Dont see many in 45 cal, all the ones I see are 9mm and 40 cal...
  11. Thats not a bad deal at all!! Thanks!
  12. What I would do as the stopping officer, is call the township you live or the state police and see if you actually had an FID card and take all steps necessary to verify.. We do it all the time when serving domestic violence TRO's. We check our records to see if the offender is a licensed fire arm owner prior to going there to serve or arrest. Usually a TRO results in the seizure of the offenders weapons and FID card till the case is resolved.
  13. Just purchased a new Beretta CX4 Storm from Chris at Bullseye in Woodbridge. Was there looking for an AR and he had one of these Cx4's in 45 ACP in stock. I did some research earlier on it and was considering one due to the ability to easily modify it from left handed user to right handed user with no additional parts. Also it accepts various rail attachments and barrel shrouds to spice it up a bit. I figured it is a good weapon with the combination of accuracy in mid range up to 100 yards and has sufficient stopping power due to the heavier 45 cal bullet. And seems like it will be cheaper to shoot than an AR and should quench my thirst for my AR for long enough to have one built or ordered. It is also very comfortable compact and light weight, plus very unique looking which is what I like. The only draw back is the 8 round magazines, but it will accept Beretta handgun mags so I need to find a few 15 round mags for it. The retail was $915 but Chris sold it to me for $829 so It was a fair price and he seems like a cool guy with a decent selection of items. http://www.berettausa.com/products/cx4-storm/ The above picture is not my gun but this is how I most likely will configure it, I just ordered the barrel shroud for it from Beretta and will mount my Sig Sauer Stop light to it...I will post actual pictures of mine later on tonight after I figure out how to swap it to left handed eject.
  14. The Airport scenario I can see being a high profile type of incident and in this day and age with tensions being high as far as security (or the joke that they call security) I can see the cops making a judgement call that may have at the time seemed to them the right thing to do. I for one would not make that type of call and would put it on the back of a superior officer to do so. Also another thing to consider is the Port Authority is a private police agency that answer to themselves and the airport is private property owned by the P.A. What might be legal and make sense on the street just outside the airport, may not be legal or make sense inside the airport. One other thing to consider is the media reporting of the facts of the case may be skewed to fit the author of the articles agenda. We all know the media does not care about reporting the facts as much as conforming to whatever picture they wish to paint at the time. An anti gun reporter will report the facts of the case from his perspective, and an an anti cop pro gun reporter would report the facts different also. There may be fact of the case that we are not aware of or privileged to, and have to draw our own conclusions from what we are told by those reporting the incident to us. The second case where the guy was summonsed back to the scene,I will agrre that the cops may have acted improperly but once again we were not there at the scene and can not determine the type of urgency the mother portrayed when calling 911. She obviously called fearing that her son was suicidal and the cops were obligated to investigate the incident. It is a double edged sword at that point, as a responding officer do you take the civil liability of simply talking to the person on the phone and later he does commit suicide then the family sues you. Or do you have him respond back to the scene and make the determination as to his mental state from there. Both option come with risk and liability as we can see from the end result. The only issue we need to ask is, what prompted the search of his closed trunk to find the fire arms?? That is where the whole thing goes bad... As far as him later being convicted on the charge of transporting hollow point bullets from one residence to another on a technicality that the law doe not have provision for it, well thats just retarded...But understand the law was made by politicians, prosecutors and lawmaker..So their the ones with their heads up their a$$e$ when it comes to how stupid the law is.
  15. Here is a perfect example of what Im talking about, this happened to a buddy of mine: I got a friend who makes a fairly comfortable living, and has enough spare change to buy mostly any toy he wants. He has several high performance cars with tons of aftermarket modifications and one full blown time attack track car, bottom line is he gets into something and gets obsessed with it and spends ALOT of money doing it. H He recently gets into guns and goes to buy a rifle and a pistol at a gun shop who I will not name and being new to guns, a Glock 21 SF and a Daniel Defense M4 V5 Ar15 with an Eotech and magnifier. Now my buddy like to have top of the line stuff or modify stuff to be top of the line, so the salesman at this shop talks him into doing a whole bunch of modification to brand new guns...The 2 guns and all the modifications wind up costing him $6000.....Keep in mind thats not a lot of money to him, but still I cant see where the $6000 came from, I mean how many accessories could he have purchased?? So same buddy at the same shop goes to but the Keltec KSG that HE HAD THEM ORDER FOR HIM SPECIFICALLY, and they attempt to charge him $1880 for a $880 retail gun...At this point he has wizened up a bit and did some research into pricing, and literally flips out at the guy. He does not mind paying a few hundred above retail for a hot item but $1000 over list? When he asks the owner whats the deal with his gun that he pre-ordered, the owner responds "hey, its just business"...LOL He politely tells them they have lost a customer for life over the deal...Now how much of a greedy idiot does one have to be to ignore the big picture that your trying to rip off a guy who will most likely spend $20,000 on guns this year alone, for a one time profit of $1000...What kid of savvy business man does that sound like to you?? My Buddy is the type of guy that will give you anything and do anything for you, has a ton of money, and does not mind spending it as long as someone is not trying to rip him off. He is also a very loyal consumer as long as your fair with him. But he also will never do business with you again if you cross him like that..He said he would have paid $900-$1000 for the KSG but not 2 1/2 times retail. So a lot of these shops do it to themselves trying to be greedy and get the quick big bang and not develop life time loyalty.
  16. We find kids with 3 feet long Machetes concealed in their jeans..You see the close these kids wear?
  17. I dont understand the states position on being more strict for Handguns...I can tell you I would rather get in a gunfight with someone with a hand gun than a Shotgun or rifle. You have a better chance of survival getting shot with a hand gun than a shotgun of high power rifle.
  18. I will say that I heard there was a huge surge in applications, when Obama took office cause people were afraid he would go after the right to own guns. I would expect the State police are swamped. Also the little towns must be swamped.
  19. Have you noticed all the hysteria has been profiting Gun and Ammo manufacturers and FFL dealers? Have you noticed all the information has been coming from the same people who are profiting from the hysteria?
  20. Im sure in this sue happy state you could be held civilly liable..Cant think of anything criminally unless you made an unessential stop somewhere to get a cup of coffee.. :keeporder:
  21. http://usnews.msnbc.msn.com/_news/2012/05/20/11777541-life-over-war-us-veterans-return-medals-at-nato-summit?lite On second thought....Stock up fellas!!!
  22. I think 1000-2000 rounds would be enough to get by for the average person in the event of a complete break down of society as we know it. Youl be using it to protect your family, not fight a war against our own military...Besides, they got planes and Tanks..Where you going with a few rifles..LOL
  23. Just bought 840 rounds of military grade 5.56x45 and 500 rounds of 00buck last night on line. (after I read one of these threads)
