The had lots of ammo there on Tuesday and the SP was due in later that day to inspect and hopefully approve for ammo sales. Anyone know how it went?

Submitted 4/13 and got the call yesterday 4/29.

What if the NICS takes so long it goes past the expiration date of your permit? Depending on how long the NICS check takes on the gun I just purchased, I can't put the paperwork in for the next one (already purchased) until later May. My 90 day window closes on May 28th. Should I just go get and extention on the last permit now?

Saw Mark Kelley on Mike Wallace touting how his instant background check in AZ only took a little over 5 minutes. Why so long here?

My daughter and friends had a 3 hour field hockey clinic in the area so I "volunteered" to drive. The wait was about an hour by it was a great experience. Since I've never shot a pistol the range officer took his time to give me a lesson and help me along. Even checked in to offer help when he saw mistakes (mainly trigger pull) and showed me how to use bore snake when done. The new Kimber worked flawlessly BTW. They had a great selection of pistols for sale as well. I'd definitely go back, just wish they were closer.
