Well, you get what you pay for.  I wouldn't call the shot timer apps good but to each their own.  I use a CED pocket pro II and it's great but that is a little over your budget.  A CED pocket pro II is cheaper than buying a cheap timer and then an expensive one afterwards when you realize your mistake, however.

I agree but to get 60 - 70% of the functionality you want to try out for free while deciding what you do want to spend money on isn't bad...

Well they screwed up my order. Sent me the gift light, and one i3T light. But no bundle. I contacted them, and they shipped out what looks like the correct order this morning. So screw up, yes. Quick fix, yes.

I'll post up again when the new order arrives with the results.

Mine was sent in two shipments with about 3 days between them. The fist had the gift light and one i3T light and the second has the second i3T and the PL-Mini2.

I’m really liking the flashlights. My wife is keeping the free one in her purse. The PLxMini2 is really nicely made and I like the adjustability of it. It’s on my P220 right now.

  3. The APX is a nice gun that doesn't get enough credit. I really like the P320 as well. I waffled between the P320 and the Walther PPQ but ended up with the PPQ. I am not regretting getting the PPQ, it's probably the best out-of-the-box gun I have had closely followed by my CZ-75 SP01.

I love revolvers though. I have more revolvers than semi-autos... the last one I bought was a used S&W 625 45 ACP 4" barrel. Sweet gun. @Pizza Bob , you aren't alone in liking your revolvers :)

That's actually a good point. We're on the front edge of the "screwing curve". The rest of the country will have to catch up!

Do you see NJ staying stagnant on the gun laws in that environment? As you say, we are on the front edge of the "screwing curve" all the junk they want to push to the rest of the country will come here and CA first to see how it plays out...

Jim, keep an eye on the events & meetup section. The post was from about 2 weeks ago. There will probably be one right after Halloween. If it's not a miserable day it's usually a good turn out.

Thanks to @Mr.Stu for letting me shoot your Benelli(?).

I'll attempt to tune the gas on the VEPR for the next meet.

You know, I looked at it and thought it was posted the 18th not the 8th. I need more coffee. :)

I've had a few women try my Ruger GP100 with 38 special ammo.  They have all liked it.

Obviously not a carry gun but great home defense.  Especially for single women with no kids.  Load it, point it and pull trigger.  Maintenance is simple as well.

This ^ GP100 with 38 special with a 3 or 4" barrel is very controllable and comfortable to shoot. My wife likes the GP100 Match Champion quite a bit.

I’ve mentioned in similar threads how I struggle to grasp the legalities of this. When Trump does something the lefties don’t like, they run to the Ninth Circuit to rule against him, and they get a nationwide injunction. But when a court like the Ninth rules in our favor, it applies only to them, and we don’t benefit from it.
Would one of the legal eagles on here be kind enough to explain that again to this tired old man.

I think it has to do with the type of case. If a state, CA, brings a case to the 9th circuit against a federal law or EO then it effects the federal law or EO. If an individual or group brings a case to the 9th claiming a state, CA, has broken federal law, 2A, then it only effects the state named in the case for the law named in the case. Since it is in a district court it can be used as case precedent against similar laws in other states subject to the court’s jurisdiction. That’s why if this ruling stands in the 9th circuit, it will only effect the area covered by the 9th circuit. The ruling isn’t against a federal law, but a state law.
At least that is how I understand it, not a lawyer :)
