  1. what were you shooting them out of? although I am fairly certain most will agree, I cant say that 100%. But.. my own experience with them is the same as yours. I think I shot one or two bricks of them. dirty gargabe, very high percentage of FTF and fte. from the smith, and this is a gun issue.... from the 22a, because they were hollow points, they would often get failed to chamber. the other 10% of the time the slide wouldnt cycle. once the firearm became dirty, the problems became 10 fold. and did I mention that ammo smokes more than a locomotive? and leaves that golden flaked residue on the hands.
  2. google 1911 380, sig has a small one. Other one is a 38 super.
  3. not every mcdonalds fry comes out the same great way.
  4. I am not a 1911 expert by any means, but most are 45acp, then a few manufacturers started making them in 380, and now 9mm. rock island? or one of them actually made a 1911 in a 45Gap. biggest drawback, due to slim design, is 8 or so round capacity in a single stack.
  5. that is where the beauty is... they can be customized as you please.
  6. this 1911 vs others 1911's or 1911's vs other semi autos in general? for starters, this was really the first auto feeder.... designed by john moses browning in 1909, first issued to the military in 1911.
  7. nice, congrats... was the gsg5 the regular one or the anniversary edition? quite awesome though! and yes... this thread is worthless without pics.

  10. lol. all one person? nice. =P did they have to go in multiple times to get those permits... or just got them in one shot. lol.
  11. Just had the opportunity to shoot this beauty, wow. it is all I can say. When you shoot this firearm, you know you must own it. Not a nice to have in the future, but a must have. It shot better than any other firearm I have shot, including some expensive Hk's, and wilson combats. http://www.smith-wesson.com/webapp/wcs/ ... sFirearm=Y Break cleanly, very little recoil, very very accurate, amazing trigger. It has topped the list of firearms for me. Right above the Browning Hi Power.
  12. I didnt know that the sks had conversion stocks avail... what do they go for?
  13. 12k a year property taxes for a townhouse, 1800sf, next development over in an average mercer county town. I was just looking over the handguns I owned... I bought the first two in the same month. then bought 1 the following, and then two more the same day as part of a package deal. with these laws, I would only have one.
  14. I have shot 357's out of a 3inch... you get used to it. lol. for me it wasnt the kick that hurt... it was the frame hitting against the tendon between the thumb and index finger
