  6. Apply anyway. Chance this gets TRO'd/Enjoined fast. My PTC application with the county court, so I'm "in limbo" too.
  7. Murphy's live on NJ 12 right now: https://newjersey.news12.com/ask-gov-murphy-to-air-wednesday-dec-21-at-3-p-m Any history of SCOTUS intervening in an active Federal Circuit case?
  8. Murphy just said on NJ12 that he's signing the bill tomorrow.
  9. Prior EMT-B training, mainly wanted a "stop the bleed" type kit with TQ. Ended up ordering this - will supplement it with some other supplies I have: https://www.rescue-essentials.com/flat-ifak-vehicle-kit/
  10. They didn't sponsor it, true, but they also did not oppose it once they "got theirs".
  11. I've got ~$75 in medical FSA funds I need to spend before year end. Is there a decent medical/IFAK-type kit I can buy for about that amount to keep in my range bag?
  12. Passed 21 to 16. Murphy's probably re-routing his jet now to get back to sign it.
  13. Senate session scheduled to start at 3:00 this afternoon. A4769 is on the docket, as expected. https://www.njleg.state.nj.us/live-proceedings/2022-12-19-15:00:00/S/Session
  14. Yup, none. One of the big problems with the "Red Flag"/TERPO process - ZERO repercussions for false or malicious filing of a Red Flag. Big saving grace was the Paterson officer(s) allowing "Mo" to leave their station with his handgun - totally blew apart any chance their TERPO action had of even appearing legitimate.
  15. There's already an effort underway in Monmouth Co. that may eventually have an effect on all counties:
  16. Hey Ed, No experience using this place, but I'm considering using them for a car I'm looking to sell: https://www.ctaa.com/ This online company gave me a quote that was not ludicrously low, but I didn't like that they take the car and title first and then send you a check a week later, likely after they inspect it and start deducting things off: https://www.vroom.com/sell

  18. It's over, it passed the committee as expected. Full vote next on12/22, then Murphy's signature to become law. Merry Christmas!
  19. Senate committee video stream is up and running, not discussing A4769 yet: https://www.njleg.state.nj.us/live-proceedings/media-player?committee=SBA&agendaDate=2022-12-05-12:00:00&agendaType=M&av=V
  20. This is how someone else has been trying to get their (non-resident) PTC application processed by NJSP. This is NOT ME, I don't have any more info besides these letter copies:
  21. News out of Monmouth County via Jay Factor on FB Group New Jersey Firearms Owners Syndicate: https://www.facebook.com/groups/364613487270249/posts/1728971554167762/ His post rambles a bit, but I think the gist of it is: He had a pre-Bruen lawsuit appealing denial of his permit for justifiable need. Today he had his court hearing for the granting of his permit. He went with lawyer David Jensen. Jensen argued in court that there should be no court-ordered restrictions on the permit (such as limiting to qualified guns, etc.). The judge *AGREED*, and issued his permit with no restrictions or requirement to carry a copy of court order (and I'm assuming there were no court orders associated with the permit). Supposedly, under "equal protection", any Monmouth county PTC holder with court-ordered restrictions can now file a motion with Monmouth County court to have their restrictions removed. Possibly this will extend to PTC holders in other counties too. From his FB post:
