  1. Actually, I plan on getting my hands on one of these before making a final decision, they look really nice. I shot my buddies M&P .40 or 45 and it felt great to me, he said him and most of his police buddies wished they didn't have to use them over GLOCK, can't remember why though
  2. Nick, I'm referring to concealed carry. IWB to be specific.
  3. Thanks for the replies everyone. Maybe I'll start out with the 27, and get the 23 when it gets cooler out again next fall and I'll be wearing clothes that do a good job covering. I could probably get both, but I'd have to sell my 17. I don't want to do that because it's only got 600 rounds through it, and it's my first handgun. Cheaper to plink with too. Thanks for the offer Chad. I live in Piscataway now, but in a couple weeks I'll be moving to PA. I believe you guys are typically at BA on Thursday night, which doesn't work for me since it's a ways away and I work till 5 ish. The next couple weeks will be pretty busy relocation anyway. I appreciate you're generosity, though.
  4. I fly helicopters and planes, used to be into ground vehicles as well. Lots of fun but they require a decent time and money investment. Interesting note- when BHO flies into Newark members of the AMA get a notice that they may not fly rc vehicles for a few hours within like 25 nautical miles of Newark or Philly, which is basically most of Nj.
  5. haha, tacticool but not very practical.
  6. I'm moving to PA in a few weeks, so I'll finally be able to carry concealed. Living in NJ this wasn't a consideration, so I bought a full sized GLOCK 17 for range shooting. I really like my GLOCK, so I'm 90% sure I'll be going with one. I'd like to get one in .40 S&W, so my choices are the compact 23, or the sub compact 27. Of course the 27 will conceal easier, but does anyone have experience carrying one of the compact sized GLOCKs? I'd rather have the larger 23 if it's feasible. Thanks!
  7. I only buy from ebay, never sell anymore, and only from reputable people. If I'm selling, I put it on craigslist for a face to face cash deal only. I've never had any problems, and I'm always prepared in case the person is a nut.
  8. thanks for the suggestion. I'm single so I'm really looking for a place local, since I'll need to bum a ride from/to the shop when the work is being done.
  9. Anyone know of a good body shop in central NJ, near Piscataway? Someone bumped my car in the parking lot today, need to get a bumper cleaned up and sprayed.
  10. One of the few shows I watch every week. Those guys really are relentless, but at least they make fun of everyone.
  11. Quick Chek actually has some pretty good soups. The corn poblano chowder is my favorite, but the chicken pot pie is solid too.
  12. Stop watching commercials(and banners and drop-ins, etc. etc.). Get Admuncher. I've been using it for years now. Thanks!
  13. That is almost universal in every promo video on the web. Wow I haven't noticed...I see them when watching videos, but didn't know advertisements had advertisements.
  14. Did anyone else find it odd that Shotime makes you watch a commercial before watching a video promoting their new show? I mean, if they were sharing full episodes of the show I'd understand, but why do we have to watch a commerical just to watch another commerical? The show looks interesting, too bad I don't have Shotime. Hope Hulu will have it once it starts.
