I did the same but cant for the life of me get the POS Sportsmens guide 130 PU scope to sight in... I would never buy another one again. I now need to find a good repro scope that will fit the mount and holes in the shit one I have..

For me it was Price and History! You can get so much enjoyment from an old rifle and a piece of history and you don't need to be a billionaire to do so. You can collect, repair, adjust, tune, and talk for hours at the range with other Surplus gun guys learning more as you go along.

Nice!! I saw one at Cabellas a few weeks ago but had no money. They were asking 620.00 I believe Wish I got it! Do you know if the Garand type 30.06 loads will work with that rifle?

I was out shooting some Spam can with my 91/30 yesterday and I can tell you at 50 yards I can keep tight groups but at 100 I get wider ones( That would be my fault) . Have you done anything to float or bed your barrel. How is the crown and muzzle? any dings or scratches? With all that I still would not expect match grade groups from a nagant. Good luck!

Just ordered one from Samco with a crack in the stock and 85% blueing! Cant wait to get it and see whats under my butt plate.. I said Butt plate LOL! Any pictures of your K31 you can post?
