I was there sunday and it was PACKED in the range. The staff is always obnoxious and they are never helpful when you want to check out guns and pricing in the store.

Sportsman Center had 8.99 9mm boxes last monday. It's a great deal. Luckily they haven't changed the price even with the high demand.

Shore shot is a distance maybe 50 to an hour.. even BulletHole is around 45 minutes.. not many places in this area to shoot.. old bridge pistol is local but its a private membership.

I went to Sportsman center today and got 12 boxes of Federal American. They have plenty left and still have the 9mm at 8.99 a box. Cheapest i've ever seen for decent range 9mm ammo.

Why do most people want more than 3 mags for each gun??

I meant so that i can shoot while im waiting for the 9mm mags to arrive.

I understand that. What im asking is if its bad for the gun to use these mags in the meantime with the gun at the range. Shooting with the improper mags.

Before getting the correct magazines.. Will I damage the gun by using the .40/.357 mags in the meantime??

Sig Sauer screwed up my P226 9mm and sent me 3 12 round .40 caliber mags with my gun. They are supposedly sending me 3 9mm mags and letting me keep the .40cal because of the screw up. I don't know what to do with them. LOL. Can they be used for other sigs besides the p226? Are they interchangeable for other .357/.40 caliber sigs and/or other branded guns?

Wow you guys have been so helpful. So basically any p226 third party grip could fit on the e2 if i decide to swap it out?

Hogue grip added to e2? Would that defeat the purpose? What would be the difference buying an elite dark which comes with a different grip? Is that model more for larger hands?

Im thinking of buying a p226. I like the size of the e2 grip but the texture seems to be a concern of mine since its abrasive. Im not sure if im not use to it and maybe itll wear out a little. I was looking at the e2 since i have small hands and i read about the small trigger length and smaller grip. It felt secure in my hand but the grip was a concern. I liked the grip of the elite dark but im not certain if im missing out on any features of the e2 such as a shortened grip and trigger length. Or maybe its not a large difference?? Would i notice a difference with my small hands over time. Elite seems to cost more so im assuming it has other characteristics not found in the e2 or its more popular. I held both for a while on sunday but im trying to decide which to buy. Any advice is appreciated.
