Hello Everyone, I was wondering if it is possible to convert a detachable magazine SKS into a fix magazine to comply with NJ compliance laws? Also is there anything in addition to the magazine change I will need to do to make an SKS legal for NJ? Thank you for your help!

These courses are offered through their newly established division called Banger's Academy. Most of the initial courses are level 1 but offer a high degree of training not typically found at other ranges in New Jersey. Unlike other courses which offer very little range time these courses are very hands on and most of the training takes place on the range. Hello Everyone, I am the Web Manager for a south jersey based sporting goods facility. We recently started offering advanced training classes including Defensive Rifle, Defensive Pistol, CQB and Transitions. These initial courses are level 1 so anyone can attend these courses who meet our basic requirement. Our first official course was this past Sunday and attendance was a bit lacking I believe due to advertising. I would like to spread the word about these courses so I was wondering if anyone has any great suggestions of organizations, clubs, stores or websites where we could advertise to increase exposure and our course attendance? I went to the police station the other day and filed a police report to be safe.

I contacted aim and they said according to their records just my drivers license was affected. I looked up their free ProtectMyId Service and it was getting horrible reviews. To protect myself I think I am going to purchase Life Lock for a couple of months.

I received a letter as well. Does anyone know if the FID in addition to the drivers liscenses were obtained? If so, how do I protect the use of my firearms ID card? What would happen if they started purchasing firearms in my name? This could brand all of us as criminals.

Have you tried several types of ammo? Also just as a thought could it be your buffer and spring which are not tuned for those heavy rounds? Does your firearm shoot well in 556?

Thank you for the help and for the rail suggestions. The reason the optic (Vortex Strikefire) is mounted to the rail is because I have a swing out magnifier which provides a 3x zoom. When the magnifier is out the two optics co-witness.

Does anyone know of rock solid freefloat handguard which would be simple to install without removing the delta ring? I really need some help since I am planning on taking some courses in the future and my optic needs to be mounted to the rail and cannot move or I can loose my zero. Thank you for your help!

Hello Everyone, I was thinking about purchasing a Glock 23 Gen 4 police trade in with night sights. The firearms was a excellent deal and seem to be in very good condition. I was wondering if anyone has experience with this firearm? Is it accurate and reliable? I will be using it primarily for target shooting and possibly home defense. I might also try the firearm in the future in competition just for fun. Any advice on this pistol would be greatly appreciated.

Obtaining my ham radio license is something I have been looking into but its hard to find a testing location and dates in South Jersey. W2MC I am curious how often does your club run the testing dates? Does you club have a website or calendar of events I could check out? I live in Gloucester County so your club is not to far away. I have not yet purchased the larger antenna for the roof but I did purchase a 15" antenna for the radio to try and extend the range and signal strength for my area. I really like to listen to the local police but they have been really hard to locate recently on the radio. I am not sure if they switched to an encoded frequency. I did find the frequency online but the ham accepts frequencies six digits long while the broadcast number they provide is eight digits is there a way to enter longer frequencies using the Baofeng radio? Hello Everyone, Last year I purchase a small handheld Baofeng Pofung GT-3TP Ham radio. I came across a Youtube video which demonstrated that you can plug an antenna into these radios and pickup long range signals.I was wondering if I purchased the Dual Band VHF / UHF Gain Base Station Antenna ANLI A-100 from Amazon if this would allow me to pickup more transmissions in my area? Also if this is the correct antenna what cables and connectors would I need to hook up this antenna? I do not yet have a license and only want to listen to the frequencies as a scanner. I just looked up the NC laws and in my personal opinion I think you are going to run into problems since he is not 21 year old. Please view the document link below and check out page 40 using their page numbers or 41 of the PDF page numbers.
