  1. Depends on how much your heating and if you want a indoor or outdoor stove.
  2. I used the ms-290 farm boss. The mid range saw not pro. I'm comparing it to the dolmar 5105 which in my opinion is just a better saw. I'm am really happy I don't need a bar as large as the ones your using haha. Maybe I'll try a stihl saw more in the professional range. keep in mind I don't need anything larger than a 20" bar.
  3. I never understand the analogy with a firearm and a car.
  4. Look into Dolmar chainsaw. You'll never look back. I have a stihl and although its not a pro saw its very underpowered in my opinion (dont know what model you have). Never heard of Wood Doctor. How do you like it? I have a central boiler.
  5. Keep in mind I have a outdoor wood burning stove. Instead of burning split wood we burn logs. All together its heating up about 3500 sq ft on average 65-70 degrees.
  6. One of the longest threads just on squirrels and the solution is metal cans. lol
  7. Thanks for the response. You seem to know your way around HK's pretty well. I never hear a bad response about the hk45 which is making me want it even more.
  8. I think I can find one. May take a little time but I have the time since I have to wait for some permits. lol hey thanks for the tip I might actually rent one out first but I'm pretty sure I'll love it since I've owned a USP. I was seriously considering this idea however from what I've read the grip is slimmer on the hk45 which is good because it may be more comfortable in my wife's hands when she wants to shoot it. I've heard mixed reviews with Bill Springfield and I'm alittle hesitant to ship my gun to him. Whats the trigger reset like? The only thing I didn't like to much about my USP was the reset. I got use to it however does it have a shorter reset than the USP?
  9. So I'm having a hard time deciding which .45 I want. I've shot a Springfield and I like it alot however I'm getting the HK bug again. Can anyone give me some opinions on both before I make my final decision?

    First 9mm?

XDM is a good gun. Don't go with a compact as your first gun tho. Your probably going to eventually get more guns anyways (glock m&P etc etc)

    First Handgun!!!

it seems like all the m&p owners like to do the trigger mod. whats your take on the out of the box trigger?

    First Handgun!!!

Damn I got the same exact gun! I'm just waiting on my permit to pick it up. Excellent purchase. Did you rent this gun out before buying it? What other guns were you looking at?
  13. When did he say he was better than anyone? Your not "spouting BS" reccommending him to change his attitude or find a different career?

    Sig vs HK

I've shot a Sig 226 and a 229. Both fantastic firearms. I own an HK USPC .40. Awesome gun as well. You can't go wrong with either. If you're anywhere near hunterdon county you can shoot my HK to get a feel for what its like. I really want to get the P30 next. Just got to come up with the funds
  16. Theres a big difference between seeing a gun in plain view and stopping someone on a traffic stop.
  17. Well then its not a good law. Meaning its not clear enough for citizens and officers to know the fine line.
  18. "You stated that you do whatever the officer tells you to do, then worry about who is right or wrong later. For obvious reasons some people have a problem with this philosophy as it gives police absolute power during the time of the stop. Therefore the analogy is that you suggest a cop can do whatever he wants to you even if you know it is wrong and you have to obey." If people have a problem with that then I guess its their problem. If we want to make things more difficult for themselves. You mean to tell me if the guy complied and shut his mouth things would have went the same way? I'm only suggesting the officer can tell you what to do in THIS situation. "The idea of a police officer with no legal justification (other then paranoia) imposing their will on you because we ,the sheep who know the law ,must give leeway to the cop who does not, is ridiculous." Yes we do have to give "leeway" to officers. Thats the reality of the situation. Are you going to fight every officer that tries to stop you? "To answer your question, I expect cops NOT to question people who open carry in philly because the LAW states wey cant. Now if wey did something wrong and in the process of routine questioning, ask for a permit, that is different. I also expect cops to know the law. In this case no one got hurt, but can you imagine the uproar if he was killed and the law stated OC was ok with a permit and the cop had zero cause for shooting other then "I saw a gun and I didn't know that's not illegal"." Hey I agree with you that the officers should know the law. However that is not the case.
  19. I'm sorry but I just don't agree with that. Whats the point of having law enforcement then? Its their job to investigate someone that is open carrying a gun. Its not normal. Its not like 90 percent of people are walking around with firearms.
  20. So if you were an officer and you saw an individual with a gun you had to approach you mean to tell me you wouldn't be cautious and have your gun unholstered?
  21. So what seperates this guy from a criminal? Your telling me if a "criminal" is walking down the street open carry the officer should not detain this individual to get his information?
  22. What kind of a ridiculous analogy or parellel is that to my statement? Seriously?
  23. Thanks for the information. I'll probably check that website out better at a later time,
