  1. Idk if any of you heard anything different, but the lady behind the desk told me it will take 2 months.
  2. I was thinking about going to range 14 for an hour to zero my rifle during the week, but I can't get there until about 6pm. I normally go on the weekends during the day and have never been there after dark. How hard is it to see your target on range 14 from 6 - 8pm on Wednesdays or Fridays?
  3. In that case, would an employee be allowed to use the firearm if the store owner isn't around or would they be fired like the pharmacist story a little while ago?
  4. Were they at least allowed to carry a loaded magazine? If not, what's the point in open carrying an unloaded handgun?
  5. It would help to specify where you've seen these sighting, but there are multiple possible reasons. In South Jersey, in the Pinelands specifically there is usually a lot of activity due to JB MDL. There are a lot of ranges for air and ground units through out the area. There was also an event recently in the Sea Girt area involving the NJ ARNG and ANG. Gov Christie was at the event and there are a lot of headlines about it (More so trying to see if he was running for president). A link to the article is below. Christie meets NJ guard
  6. You should be able to send it back directly. Here's another topic asking the same general question. Kel-Tec warranty return question
  7. I would leave it at your family's house and pick it back up when you're done shopping and ready to head home.
  8. That's what I'm thinking now. I'll just add the QD stud and get a cheek riser for the existing stock. I really don't want to change from the flash suppressor to a muzzle break. Just a little too risky for NJ.
  9. The reason I was considering it was because it has features that I would like to add to my M1A when I put a scope on it. Such as a cheek riser, QD stud for a bipod, and the grip is "like" a pistol grip.
  10. I was just browsing around online and came across this stock. Do you think it would be considered NJ legal for an M1A without having to replace the flash suppressor for a muzzle break? I'm not sure if the grip is considered a pistol grip or not. ProMag Archangel M1A Precision Stock Black
  11. That's what I thought. It didn't sound right to me.
  12. A wood stock makes an M1A with a flash suppressor illegal?
  13. Do you have your "search visibility" checked in your profile?
  14. I believe if you live out of state, any NJ store/dealer would have to transfer through a dealer in your state.
  15. You should be able to find the answer to your question in the link below. The only difference with an M16A2 is that it has 8/3 instead of 6/3, but the principal is the same. Zero a M16A2
  16. I was actually planning on going that route. I have experience shooting iron sites from my time in the army. I wanted the scope just as another addition I guess. Not absolutely necessary.
  17. This looks like a good one. What did you have yours mounted on and how did you like it? Unfortunately, I won't be purchasing one right now since I just got the M1A and don't have any extra $$ for the scope yet. I'll probably be purchasing in the next few months.
  18. Yes, that's what I meant by it. Sorry, I'm new to scopes and I don't want to regret my first purchase.
  19. I'm looking for a decent/good 1-4x scope for my M1A. When searching I can only seem to find them that are optimized for 223 rounds. Any suggestions?
  20. I just wanted to show everyone this photo my wife took of her M&P 9. She's currently a photography student and had to get some ideas for one of her assignments. Then, I gave her the idea of taking a photo of her M&P and showed her a few examples. I think it came out really good. What do you guys think?
  21. FYI, they are back in stock at G&R and S&W.
