  1. Yes, we can carry Xtreme Defense type ammunition. We're only restricted from hollow point ammunition.
  2. As an alternative, I use non-expanding defensive rounds such as the following: https://www.norma-ammunition.com/en-us/products/dedicated-home-defense/pistol-and-revolver/norma-nxd https://www.targetsportsusa.com/target-sports-usa-apex-45-acp-ammo-120-grain-xtreme-defense-p-111045.aspx https://inceptorammo.com/inceptor-product/preferred-defense/

  4. It looks to me that most of the mayors from NJ are from North Jersey and the more liberal areas in South Jersey such as Camden and Atlantic City, but, overall, there aren't that many mayors from South Jersey on that list as far as I can tell.
  5. I'd say they probably be similar with no traffic, but, with traffic, I think south to Mt Laurel via the turnpike or 295 is better then north to Morristown via 287, GSP or Turnpike during rush hour. However, the traffic does can pretty bad on the turnpike and 295 as well, but not as often nor as frequent as going north to Morristown. In the future, traffic should get better on the turnpike between Mt Laurel and Monroe once the construction is finished, so that should help in the years to come.
  6. I purchased it from PSA. http://palmettostatearmory.com/index.php/palmetto-state-armory-6-position-mil-spec-buffer-tube-6284.html
  7. I have the same AR. You're going to need to replace the buffer tube because the fixed stock Sport (811037) has a fake collapsible stock. The buffer tube that is included is much longer then a real carbine buffer tube. Just buy a mil-spec carbine buffer tube and swap it out. That's what I'm going to do.
  8. Unless you have one already, I'd recommend waiting for the MOE fixed carbine stock. It will be released this year and a little cheaper then the collapsible version.
  9. They put pencils or pens in the trigger guard to prop their gun up to right angle for the picture.
  10. Thank you for contacting me to share your views on gun control. The issue of eliminating gun violence is extremely complex, and as a country I believe the debate should not be limited to restricting access to guns and gun accessories. Like you, I am a strong supporter of the second amendment and believe that the vast majority of gun owners are law-abiding and responsible citizens. As we continue to debate this issue, protecting the rights of lawful gun owners must remain a critical component of these discussions. Again, any meaningful discussion related to limiting gun violence must go beyond limiting guns and gun accessories. As a nation, we need to look deeper into the role that mental health issues play, as well as the violence in our culture. Please know that as the gun debate continues in the 113th Congress, I will keep your thoughts and views in mind. If I can assist you with any additional federal matters, please feel free to contact me in my Burlington County office at (856) 780-6436, my Ocean County office at (732) 279-6013, or my Washington, D.C. office at (202) 225-4765. 11. I don't think I saw this in the forum, but from an email I received from the NRA-ILA it says that if you can't make it to any of the 3 meetings, you can email your comments to [email protected].
  12. Target Sports is selling lake city in bulk. http://www.targetsportsusa.com/p-2378-federal-lake-city-556mm-m855-62-grain-green-tip-penetrator-bulk-ammunition.aspx
  13. There's apparently some new video of the actual incident. http://www.news12.com/articleDetail.jsp?articleId=317307&position=1&news_type=news
  14. I actually use these. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000W2CPCC/ref=oh_o01_s00_i00_details I think they work great. We were issued them in Iraq. The black side is used for indoor use and the yellow for outdoors. They are also much easier to insert then the foam ear plugs.
  15. He actually said it wrong. It's $30 for Active Duty, Military Reservist, Retired Military/Disabled Veterans, DoD Civilian Employee, National Guard, NSSA Member, Active Duty Police Officer, McGuire Dix Hunting/Fishing Permit Holder. So if you're a veteran that separated/ETSed, like me, and didn't retire, then it's still $60.
  16. Yes, you have to be a member to shoot unless someone guests you on.
  17. Hmmm... I was planning on going this weekend. Did they say if the rifle side will be open this weekend?
  18. Any new SAI M1A is NJ legal as it is from SAI. If you want to change the stock, that's where you run into issues. I have one myself and it's not welded or anything. As mentioned, the threaded barrel with the flash suppressor count as one evil feature, not two.
  19. I'm assuming they are still limiting people to 1 hour also?
  20. USAR 2002-2008 Basic at Fort Leonard Wood, MO AIT Fort Leonard Wood, MO & Gulfport, MS Mobilized Dec 2003 - Mar 2005 and attached to 1 ENG BD of the 1 ID at FOB Danger, Tikrit, Iraq.
  21. I think you took the video a little too seriously.

    M-16 Vs Ak-47

Nice video for your viewing pleasure.
  23. Here's an update. I went this morning and they put out several fold out tables and cones for extra stations in the mean time. They said they were going to see how that goes in the mean time (They may only do it on the weekends). They tried to put out chairs, but they sunk into the sand, so they decided against it. There were a total of 12 stations on the rifle range today, 9 fold out tables and 3 of the original tables. Also, they mentioned that until construction is finished, they will be limiting people to 1 hour at a time. Idk if that is only on weekends though.
