  1. Hey Guys, Had a question about the pinned stock on my JR carbine. The stock is currently pinned at the furthest out setting. I've got T-rex arms and have been dealing with this for a couple years but finally want to go about getting a shorter stock. I've looked into stocks for it and it has a mil spec buffer tube so alot of fixed stocks will fit. I've eyeing up the magpul MOE FCS. I didn't want to have to replace the buffer tube unless it's necessary. I've included some pictures of the current pinned stock. Do I just order the new stock and drill the pin? Or order a new stock and buffer tube(no drilling required)? Drill pin and repin this stock?(is that possible?) Am I allowed to do any of this or does it all have to be done at the LGS? Looking for ideas from people that have done with before. Thanks!

    1911 in 9mm?

Love my Rock Island 1911 9mm, a few thousands rounds through it and no hickups. For some reason I am drawn to it more than my 1911 .45 or my plastic fantastic 9mm's
  3. Surprisingly Dick's sporting goods in Cherry Hill had a golden boy on the shelf, I didn't note the caliber but might be worth a phone call. (856) 317-8394
  4. Used to play all the time when I lived in North Jersey, just don't find the time anymore. Still have all sorts of gear that I should sell to finance some more real steel
  5. I swapped the grips on my RIA briefly but didn't like how they felt. This might give you an idea of a white accent:
  6. I've shot at least a thousand rounds of magtech 9mm and noticed it to be no dirtier than any other ammo. So maybe a fluke
  7. Rayco has an XDm 3.8" in stock with 13 round mags
  8. Haha, definitely not my first time doing the process I knew moving to this state how it is. I made my choice coming here so I can't complain about the process(coming from someone who moved here from PA) Only downside to getting 3 is now I will have 2 addition permits that I am sure will get used and the safe is running out of room lol
  9. I'll make the drive out and just ship it to the FFl myself, I'll just have him ride along while I drive to the shipping location. Thanks
  10. Thanks for the quick reply! Off to the police station for paper work ugh
  11. So I am currently out of pistol permits but have my FID. My grandfather in PA wants to either sell or give me his 1911 since he no longer has a need for it. He does not have transportation so either myself of my father would be picking up the pistol from him. I have time so could get a pistol permit but unsure if it is necessary. If I get one I assume I just take the pistol from his house directly to my local gun store and have them fill out my permit for a transfer? Wasn't sure the best approach and like I said I have time so would like to do it as correct as possible. Thanks in advanced.
  12. I was an XD fan and always had a chip on my should about glocks due to the grip angle. Well these gen4 glocks really turned me around. I picked up a gen 4 34 and my xd 4" 9mm just sits in the safe looking lonely. The higher bore axis on the XD never really bugged me still I shot the glock. Now whenever I go back to the XD is just feels to snappy. I am a bit far but if you are ever near by Bob's let me know and you can take the 34 for a test run.
  13. Considering this... but noob question...could you PM me on how this would work? I have only bought firearms at a store and an unsure how a private sale would work. Have PP in hand.
  14. I've got "Xd" in the lower corner of the back window fo my truck. Most people won't don't know what it is.
