  1. I'm bringing a blue mallard, M&P15 sport, Xdm45, STI edge .40, G34 and Ruger Mark III. Parking lot outside the range meet up sounds good. 8:30-9:00 ish??
  2. I'll probably get there about 8:30. I'll save us a spot on the 50 yard range, the pit just to the left of 50 yd range (That's a good pit to set up some mock IPSC stages) and a spot or 2 at the shotgun area. Dino71 if you want to shoot a bunch, I'd bring more than 100 rounds. You can shoot 100 rounds in under 10 minutes if you try.
  3. Sweet! I really like STI guns, thinking about a Trojan myself.
  4. I'm in. I would really like to meet some of you guys. I would also like to shoot an 870, i've been looking at the express at Dicks but haven't made the move yet. I'll bring some shells and clays. Also, I have some paper IPSC targets and some home made stands I'll bring. I also have a timer and just picked up a chrono if anyone is interested in testing their hand loads.
  5. No, not the last round. Often the first unless I slingshot the slide closed and varying rounds in between. I think I'm going to try new followers, polish the feed ramp and see what happens. I hear the STI stock followers are junk.
  6. I like tinkering with stuff myself so I haven't called Brazo's yet. I will though soon if I can't get through it.
  7. I've recently purchased an STI High Performance Edge from Brazo's along with 4 additional STI 126mm mags. I'm well into the "break in" period, about 850 rounds through it already but I'm still having some nose dive jams. Much reading has led me to the possible conclusion that my magazines may need tuning. I'm wondering if anyone has used the Dawson Precision mag tuning kit or if anyone has another possible solution to nose dive jams. The gun is .40 S&W and I've ran about 600 Remington factory rounds, experienced nose dives at least 1 per mag. Once I got all my .40 reloading equipment I've ran about 250 hand loaded rounds through. No major differences. I'm seating them to 1.20" OAL. Any info is appreciated!
  8. Great video man, thanks for posting. I too will introduce myself at the next match.
  9. 9/1996-9/2000, was a CTR2. Great Lakes boot camp and I remember all to well the peanut butter shot and the chilly weather that time of year. Luckily I was off to Pensacola FL for A school which was a good time. Went to Ft. Huachuca in AZ after that to learn morse code, then to NSGA Northwest in Chesapeake VA for direct support duty. Did many week to 30 day work up cruises on different ships, did a 6 month cruise on the USS Stout, DDG55. All in all, I had a great time in the Navy and attribute much if not all of my success today to my experience there. Got out because I was married and had a son young, 21 and really didn't want to spend 6 months away from them every other year.
  10. I'm registered, just hoping to shoot better than I did Sunday.
  11. Heard about this today during MDTS training at OBRPC. Lurked about 5 minutes reading some posts. Registered because there were a lot of interesting people at todays training that are involved here. Seems like a great place for info and like minded comradery.
