you might be seeing vole or mole damage...I rarely see chipmunks tunnel like you are describing..

animal control will not help you if you trap it. If they trap it, they'll release it on your property at the edge. At least in my town thats how it works. call them first to see what their SOP is... you can also try fox urine scent markers. they sell them at some garden centers. seems to work for us. good luck.

havaheart with broccoli bait and a quick relocation seems to work best for us once they invade. Each time they trench under the fence I fill the hole with quick dry redicrete and chicken wire then top off with some soil to hide the concrete, otherwise they come and go as they please, destroying every plant they see. Exclusion is the best weapon I've found. I have seen where they tried to dig and hit the concrete and chicken wire and chuckle... They are very very sensitive to their surroundings and you'd have to really sneak up on them quietly to get a clean shot off from a distance. only other thing that helps for us is those fox urine scent bottles.. I keep 4 of them in various places on the outside of my fence. Keeps everything but squirrels, voles and chipmunks away. Only downside is it drives our beagles nuts trying to find the fox!

Glad I called to check. Was told they were "missing" a ref letter. Would have been nice to know a bit earlier instead at week 7...they resent and I handed it to the woman yesterday. I asked if this was ok and was told yes by the person I spoke to, but the woman at the counter didn't look thrilled by it. Glad I had the name of the person I spoke with! I know the original letter was mailed back in week 1 since I work with the person and they mailed it in front of me! So it was either lost in the mail, or twp offices..... Oh well..keep waiting.....

congrats. I am thinking I should have put in for more than 2 P2P as well. When they call me to tell me its ready, I am going to have form in hand for 4 additional P2P. I can always file for extension once I have them.. I don't expect said call till early June at best... meanwhile I can stand in my backyard and listen to CJRPC members having fun...

Seems like something is missing. I'd go back and ask in person. I had to bring the form from fingerprinting back with all the other apps, and then they accepted my money and had me pre sign the FPID and PP's and pre-fingerprint the FPID card. Then they told me I had to wait 4-6 weeks. Not holding my breath...4 weeks is today..I know my ref's answered at the end of the first week.

Logitech Alert 750 systems. These are not wireless.

I have the Logitech units-both outdoor and indoor cameras. They have expandable on board storage and they are accessible from my phones and desktops. It sends an email or text alert with still photo whenever it senses motion (predetermined thresholds). So far they've been pretty damn good. Wish I had it before we were robbed this past summer, but the PD caught them anyhow. ...and those of you that think your dogs will protect your home...we have two and the perps just opened the door and let them run off. Lucky for us a neighbor spotted them (dogs) and put them back in our yard...the 4 perps still have yet to see their day in court. Lots of charges including a stolen handgun (not mine) from one of the houses they hit. They broke a patio door down to get in....then simply walked away..
