  1. Maybe closer to 90% I'd consider it.

    Kimbers

I personally have shot and have had friends own many Kimbers. I've seen more than a fair bit of issues with Kimbers from rust as mentioned before, to many many FTE or FTF and due to this will not spend my money on a kimber. Also feel that there are plenty of better options in 1911s for the price. Just my $0.02.
  3. http://p.washingtontimes.com/news/2014/feb/28/new-jersey-bill-is-outright-gun-ban-on-22-caliber-/?page=1 NJ bill to ban ALL .22 caliber rifles. I hope this gets squashed
  4. Or they just keep a certain amount from being reported to maintain a certain image of the city/town that it's happening in. People are often shocked to find out that the small town I live in has a large heroin problem among the 16-24 age group. So much so that I've worked more ODs there than any other area I've been on the EMS truck combined.
  5. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that number is far too few. As a career EMS worker I see ODs very very often and I also am close friends with a few medics in Camden and I'm gonna say that number from Camden alone could be close to 150+. 368 seems very low I'd bet it's closer to 500 easy.
  6. Still think USA has the talent and depth to go to the gold medal game. Even the women's team played well despite the OT loss to the Canucks. If I hear one more time about Cindy's gold medal winning goal in Vancouver (and his only goal of the Olympic tournament) I'm gonna lose my mind. NBC just loves him.
  7. Not a fan of manual safety as well but the shield is WAY nicer than the XDs IMO. I absolutely hate grip safeties
  8. I'm gonna say that if the US keeps it momentum going after that TJ Oshie shoot out victory they are going to be the team to watch.
  9. Just gonna toss this into the fire I don't know if it's been stated already. SWEENEY IS A GUN OWNER. Let that settle in for a minute.
  10. I love my S&W I picked up from PK90
  11. Sorry I am on the tail end of a long shift. And if you read all of the articles and information he was being served with an arrest warrant for burglary charges when he "assaulted" the officer. And my last post I was trying to say that if any of us were being arrested on burglary charges and did what this man did I would think we'd have our guns taken too.
  12. So do you think that if ANY gun owner in NJ would not have their firearms taken from them just for being arrested on burglary charges? Not to mention NJ.com has a nasty track record of leaving large portions of thugs like this out.
  13. Just out of curiosity (for the few hung up on them taking his guns) what would you have wanted the police to do in this case? Ex LEO wanted for possible robbery and they find him going for a gun and then he has a small army's worth. Would you rather they left his guns in his possession even though he has shown a possible unstable nature and willingness to be violent?
  14. A lot of readers and commenters here seem to be getting hung up on the guns and ammo things. He was arrested on burglary charges and while serving that arrest warrant he "grabbed a handgun". Come on now people who in their right mind would do that while the police were there to put you in cuffs? This is not a case of hey look you have guns lets arrest you and take them.
