I just picked up an old school S&W 659,LNIB,9mm,14-15 round mags depending on the maker. Had one back in the mid-80's (think Miami Vice) It was a pleasure to shoot back then. Haven't shot the new one yet,may keep it,may not.My point beng don't rule out a used gun.

just my two cents-I was in my not so local gunshop the other day and spotted a nicely used but not abused colt frontier scout,.22lr,SA revolver in the showcase. It has the 4.75(?) inch barrel. My point is that there are a lot of nice used guns out there waiting to be found. It was only $275-for a Colt ! It will shoot any .22 you care to put in it.

with the extended time period waiting for nics to come back,adding at least 5 days to each permit,you may be able to use 5 permits in 6 months

Can you give me some examples of different types of .223 and prices ? Just so I can get a general idea. Lets say fmj 55-62 gr.? Thank you in advance

what is a reasonable price for .223 ammo? There is a "gun" show at the Jackson AMVETS next weekend, 3/17/13, and I don't want to pay too much.
