  1. I often wonder how this works.... You cant have a magazene capable of being retrned to a 30rd mag, but you can have linked ammo that can be relinked? NJ WHY U SO CRAZY!
  2. Storm or stormy (could be tied to beretta) MAGgy Bolt or one of my fav dog names is just plain Bullet.. Your in NJ so you could call it Illegal.... lol jk good luck with your new pet.
  3. they are making too much money off Daryl.... he is safe! They could kill baby ass kicker and rick at the hands of carl before michone chops carls head off before fans would be ok with Daryl dying even if dying a hero...
  4. Farms and Amry Bases... and man do we FEEL those bases... gotta love when the Army has range day with the big toys!
  5. I would be ok with some sort of physical labor. like that movie holes. or what about we build a gladiator arena!! Then we let death row/ life without parole guys choose to participate in the gladiator games! they could sign legal waivers and could fight each other. put it on pay per view and raise money to pay for the entire system as well as fund the correctional system... I would be oddly ok with that as long as they got to choose to participate.... maybe I was born in the wrong era lol
  6. ANd dont forget Andrews Lincoln on talking dead after....
  7. Mullet dude does kinda make me think meth tweaker....
  8. Of those listed who was a patsy? Possibly Bin Laden I guess but that's a stretch. McVeigh wasn't, he was proud of what he did and has been quoted saying his only regret was not leveling the building. It would be hard to bury nearly 30 boys under another persons house so I dont think that applies to Gacy. And lastly Bundy admitted to killing like 30 women. He had kept a few of their severed heads in his apartment. He also had sexual encounters with his victims after they were dead, multiple times. If memory serves me he would do that until the animals made sleeping with the corpse impossible. Now I am not so niave to think that our gov doesnt have the ability or hasnt already done this. I think it is more of a movie theme but I am sure a small amount of this does exist. Movies like Shooter, or Jack Reacher were great but I just don't see it happening as a standard operation. Again not getting feelings into it and playing devils advocate for sake of the debate. My personal belief is the DP takes too long, cost too much but is absolutely needed.
  9. I mean that when there is certainty... and I will give you an example... I was working in a county jail in central Alabama. My job was many things but I also was the court officer for a year. I brought all inmates from the jail to the court, sat through court with them and everything. We had one case that caused me to have to be stunned with a RACC IV stun belt because while in front of a jury, the inmate could not be in cuffs or orange because it gave an imposition of guilt. So he wore a suit with the stun belt under and me with the remote trigger to set it off. The case took place at a Walmart. The convicted walked up to the man's (Brian) truck, had a few words, started to walk away, turned back and went to the truck door and pulled out a pistol and began firing. Brian exited the truck and the convict starte to get in the truck but walked over to the now crawling man and shot him some more then took offi n the truck. Brian was stopping to get diapers for his infant on his way home from work. He was about 6 or 7 spaces back from the front door. The security camera captured the whole thing clear as day... they also caught the convict with the truck and with the gun. His co-defendant testified against him in exchange for life plea. Calvin McMillan was the first person to be given the death penalty in @ 30 years in Alabama. Also the jury reccomended life without and the circuit judge overturned it and gave him the death penalty! I watched this man in court, I watched as they showed the family of the victim the security tape. the zero remourse... the cold bloodedness... it was horrible. so YES I do think that there are cases where there is 100% certainty... only because I have seen this first hand. The picture in the link cuts me off but it was at his sentencing hearing i am to his right.... http://alada19.com/inthenews2009/090810.htm
  10. We hear talks about Ft Dix trying to break off the whole Joint Base system. The Army HATES it and they really hate being under the Air Force. A lot of the DoD cops hate their jobs since the AF took over. I would like know know how that would work tho. Because as a Guardsman I have access to the base and as a LEO I have the ability to conceal carry. However I can not carry on federal property which includes the base... So I don't know how they would handle the sale and removal of weapons from the base. Maybe if they do not sell ammo there that might work but who knows. I wont count the chickens before they hatch but man it would be awesome to have it right there!!
  11. I dunno man, Gacy raped and killed 30+ teenage boys and buried most of them under his own house in a crawl space... I can understand maybe kept alive, but not safe or well cared for.... If they are getting life, let them do life in general population with all the rest of the inmates... keeping them locked tight safely in a cell all by themselves, for years and years until they die alone is not justice. That is just taking a problem, locking it in a closet and forgetting about it.
  12. In what prisons? because yes those guys get jumped on a lot, that is it. That is a common misconception much like you will be raped if you go to prison... There are so many of them in prisons that nothing happens to them. They get bullied a bit and their stuff gets taken a lot but thats really about it. Vlad, I completely understand your view. I have always been on the fence with the topic. I have wrote papers for college on this topic both for and against it (both for the same class which was awesome). Those 3 being alive doesn't really make a difference. But people like McVeigh was (who lived a few cells away from Kaczynski) are housed at ADX Florence in Colorado. Those people require a lieutenants hold (4 officers plus a LT). These people cause more burden on the system than the typical day to day inmate. requiring much more direct hands on time than any other type of inmate. Granted they don't get to leave the cells often. If not life or death, what alternatives would you guys be ok with? Again stipulating 100% certainty, beyond any shadow of doubt, DNA proven violent crimes such as murder, treason, or as someone put above dealing with children, elderly, or mentally handicapped ( as a group I would cal the defenseless)
  13. My son is 6 and when he was 5 I could tell how into guns he was. They fascinated him as much as they did for me when I was a kid. I knew I did not want him shooting yet so I went the BB gun route. As of now, he is 6 and a half and knows almost religiously gun safety rules. Everytime we go shoot, he has to tell me some of the rules. Those BB guns are locked up with my guns and he has no access to them unless I am home and grant him access. NEVER on his own. My brother also has a TON of airsoft stuff so he gets to shoot a variety of things and loves it. When he hits 7 or matures a little bit more, we are DEF getting a cricket. They are pretty cheap and a PERFECT started for kids. He wants to learn to hunt which means I need to learn first before just taking him out.... at least I have a few years to learn lol
  14. You have no idea how exceited this makes me!
  15. Just playing a bit of devils advocate here... even tho I am for capital punishment. Do you personally think that us killing Osama Bin Laden, Timothy McVeigh, John Wayne Gacy, Ted Bundy were not warranted?
  16. she can't die in two shows withing a week of each other..... can she
  17. Wow, that escalated! Which is exactly why I posted this. These type of topics get so controversal and I love seeing the different views of people. A few problems I have is that there is no such thing as "hard time". Prison life is the easiest thing one could have to do. It may not be convenient and it may not be luxurious but theres nothing about it that is HARD. The purpose for this was more to see what you guys think of this guy attaching a car jack to his 2 year old baby car seat "like a ball and chain", leaving her in a river kissing her saying i love you and leaving this baby to die in the river! At 2 years old all that baby can do is scream... I have a 2 year old, she can't call 911, she doesn't scream that loud and just typing this thinking about the events make my stomach churn. I don't think that there is punishment good enough to make justice for that innocent child. He even admitted to attaching the jack, and leaving her in the river... he said " se was not deceased when I left her"... Sick SOB! I do agree that our gov can't help themselves shouldn't be trusted with power to kill but we already have it... We go to other peoples countries and kill their people.... when we have no shortage of scumbags here... I dunno maybe I have a skewed view but some people just do things that IMO forfeit their right to live here.... I would be 100% ok with shipping said people to South Africa and let them survive there.... Althought that didnt work out well with Australia
  18. The problem with the Innocence Project (I researched them in college) is that times have changed. Look at the dates for the convictions overturned... They are most if not all from decades ago. The distance that forensic science has come is insane.... Forensic science, the same stuff that is overturning the convictions, is what I would want to carry out the death penalty. In this day I do not think murder is possible to get away with and that innocent men being convicted of murder is much lower than it used to be. You may think life without parole is a good choice but to that I say, come on inside the wire. Walk around with some of the lowest people on the planet....your mind will change. It is sickening to see how good these people have it after touching children, trading child porn, and any other number of disgusting and terrible crimes. Seeing them loving life without a care in the world is not justice. Many have a better life in prison than on the streets... I vote if you are convicted with forensic and DNA evidence showing 100% you did it, then you have 5 years to exhaust your appeals. After that..... so long. Then again I am sure we could always use more people for IED/Mine detection in the middle east, I would be open to that too.
  19. I watched a movie the other night with my kids called "Holes". I think it was a disney movie, but it involved these troubled kids digging holes in the middle of nowhere. 5 foot deep, 5 foot in circumference. The shovels were their measurements at 5ft. The more I watched the movie the more I thought this would be a pretty decent punishment for some crimes. As for it being able to deter future crimes, I think the death penalty isnt enough in itself. For example, those countries that cane people or chop fingers off for thieves is what we need. A progressive punishment... first offense you may lose a finger second another finger and third offense the hand... people will see your missing digits and know your a thief. This sounds barbaric but if it was common practice it wouldn't be barbaric and would in fact deter crime. The death penalty the way it is is still a 30 year sentence. It takes too long and is a very dumb process. The way technology is now murders can be proven forensically beyond any shadow of a doubt. Sure 15+ years ago innocent people slipped through the cracks but that was a long time ago. And finally, another hit home topic is rapists/child crimes.... I saw a picture and loved it. It said that we euthanize dogs that bite kids and hurt them for a short time, where the rapists hurt them for a life time and they only get some prison time... couldn't have agreed more!
  20. Does anyone else think that NJ should have it? I have been in Law Enforcement in some way or another for nearly a decade and military for most of that. I do not have a biased opinion but I am for the death penalty. Seeing some of these cases, I just can not believe that these people will be given 3 hot meals, a roof over their head, no bills, cable TV, and in some cases a cheap or even free college education.... I am bringing this up because this case hits pretty close to home. I have a daughter the same age as this guy. My day is made when I hear her voice, or get my hug and kiss before I go to work or after nap time. My kids are my worlds and I would die/kill for them... This story made my stomach turn and made me furious!! People are sick and if you have the nuts to do this to an innocent child... then you better have the nuts to die a slow painful death! If you kill someone, you should be killed in the same or similar manner... This man is sick and I hope he gets some jailhouse justice since PRNJ won't kill the sorry SOB! http://www.app.com/article/20140326/NJNEWS14/303260048/Arthur-Morgan
  21. we have just shy of an inch at fort dix, only in the grass tho nothing sticking to the sidewalk where im at
  22. I too think Mullet is not right. I think he made up the whole story to fit in and have a military guy to protect him at ALL costs! They won't make it to DC and the girlfrind will DEF die.... she has only had like 5 lines total for the season.... so yea I am counting her off too, and the lesbian will likely die because someone will recognize her from the prison...
