THE wording "you have to grant everyone rights" is bad. they can only stop restricting them. -

SAPPA news: Briefs filed!

i managed to read some of it. i don't know law enough to know what chance it really has. -
i'm trying to figure out just exactly how to phrase it that all firearms are illegal here with exceptions and exemptions. by that, i mean in such a way that even the most rabid antigunner can't argue with it. then where to start publicizing that they are in fact illegal here. the NRA should have been all over this shit years ago.

when i plan on shooting, i generally load my shit up the night before. i'm going from home to work, so it's from exemption to exemption. i don't worry 'bout getting pulled over, nor do i worry about being involved in a collision. i do though, worry about if i need to stop somewhere when i leave the shop.....and my vehicle gets stolen.

they do interfere with our right to keep arms.....a right delayed(waiting to get that fpid) is a right denied. a right restricted is not a right, but a privilege. is now the time for my favorite wall-o-text? the laws here do prevent us from baring arms......we cannot possess a loaded firearm outside of the exemptions.......

NJSA 2C:39-5.c. Rifles and shotguns. (1) Any person who knowingly has in his possession any rifle or shotgun without having first obtained a firearms purchaser identification card in accordance with the provisions of N.J.S.2C:58-3, is guilty of a crime of the third degree. so according to that part, one upon moving here must get an fpid before they can go shooting?

Do I have "Justifiable Need" ???
1LtCAP replied to AMScott's topic in Current New Jersey Gun Laws Discussion
my point was that you said they have to follow the laws, when they have proven time and again that they do not in fact have to follow the laws. they simply interpret or opine differently, and walah! -

now that i also disagree with. judges have proven time and again, that they don't actually have to follow the law. they need only opine something different, and it's good as gold. -
just PLEASE be very careful testing this system.

and here is a repair note from a tech that had this same problem..... 2008 Ford Crown Victoria, 4.6L, V8, Flex, VIN V, USA * Deployable Steering Column - Note: the deployable part of the steering column has a yellow button that appears to pop up when the column deploys; at least it was popped up on the original column, and not on the replacement column. 26,000 miles Replaced Deployable Steering Column

ok. it looks like 2 common possibilities on this code. 1) new steering column. 2)connector. i copy/pasted the testing. i personally hate it when they tell ya to jumper wires in the airbag system....... ests/Procedures: 1. Note the resistance reading of the Deployable Steering Column through the RCM data display. An expected value would be something between 1.8-4.0 ohms. 2. If the resistance reading of the deployable steering column is higher than the note range, jumper the Orange (OG) wire to the Red/Light Blue (RD/LB) wire of the deployable steering column connector together and look for the resistance shown through the RCM to drop to lower than the minimum of the expected range. 3. If the resistance reacts as stated in steps 1 and 2, replace the steering column assembly. 4. If the resistance reading does not change when the jumper is installed, check the individual circuits running from the deployable steering column to the RCM and address as needed.
