  1. Apologies if this was already posted. Surprisingly, I could not easily find this posted anywhere. Whether you agree or disagree, someone started it and now we all need to support it. A lack of unity or strength will be disastrous at this point. If we can't unify, it will reinforce their belief that we are a non threat to them. www.recallsweeney.com www.facebook.com/recallsweeney @recallsweeney
  2. You can buy a non-thread adapter for $30. I saw them at midway. I believe there are two different style adapters. One that fits on tight and one with hex like screws to tighten to the barrel. I would imagine a gunsmith can pin a compensator to the adapter and then the adapter to the barrel. A little more cumbersome, but might be cheaper than threading your barrel. If you go this route, let me know how it works out. I was thinking of doing the same to an mp15-22
  3. RTSP 5/14 - 5/28 = 14 days ShoreShot 5/15 - 5/28 = 13 days
  4. Interested in taking my boys, age 8 & 10. Going to shoot mp22 and mp15-22. Is there an age restriction at range 14 for shooting .22lr ???
  5. Just stopped in. No .22, no .45 and looks like they sold out of 9mm. Guy said smallest delivery in weeks. As I was walking out, overheard him say he had 223 & 556. Not sure what kind or how much.
  6. Honey vs. Vinegar.... Might be more effective if it were less demanding. Understand we are all angry of the delays, however outright demands only puts the recipient in a defensive posture with and f.u. attitude. How about something like the following: As a resident of the State of New Jeresy, I am looking to each of you to investigate the current delays in the NICS approval process. I understand the increase in demand for verification, however the current delays are expanding each day without resolution in sight. As a resident and voter of New Jersey, I am requesting appropriate measures be put in place to remediate the current cause of delays. I look forward to your support and action taken to help resolve the current situation. just my two cents.....
  7. With the excessive delay, is it possible to file a complaint I even civil suit? The excessive delays could be viewed as violating the 2nd amendment by delaying ones ownership rites. In my case, I just got an FID and P2P. I was just NIC checked and vetted not more than a couple of weeks ago and now I am being check again. Mikeg1970
  8. Was at dicks this morning. I picked up an ammo can of 350rds Blazer Brass 9mm for $117. They had Remington .22lr bulk (500rd) and PMC Bronze 9mm boxes. Plenty of other ammo including .223, but not sure what kind. They limit to one bulk buy and two small boxes. Would not let me get 9mm can and .22 brick together. Mikeg1970
  9. Thanks for all the feedback. I am leaning very heavy to the mp22. Think it will accommodate the mp15-22 which I am convinced would be a great 22 rifle. I thought of a higher caliber with a conversion kit, but hear some stories about fte/ftf. As for the 1911, not really feeling the style. I do like and always wanted the sig226, but not willing to spend $800+ plus another $250 for a conversion kit since i already have a 9mm. Mikeg1970
  10. I just got a new p2p. I have a sw6906 9mm that I purchased in 1991. I love the pistol. I am in the market for a new one and have been considering the sw mp22. I have been flipping back and forth on getting another 9mm or bigger vs a 22. Not concerned about hd since I already have a 9. Thinking the 22 would be great for range/target. I am also going to get an mp15-22 rifle, so was thinking I would not have to keep a wide variety of ammo. Any thoughts? Would I enjoy the 22 or do you think I might miss the recoil/power?? Mikeg1970
  11. Not a new firearms owner. I got my first p2p in Bayonne in 1991. Never got another or had an FID. i decided to apply for an FID and new P2P. I now live in toms river. 5week wait and I got my FID and P2P. I had heard TR is quick, but surprised as I was told to expect 8weeks from them when I dropped off the paperwork. Very happy with TRPD at this moment. All the stories from others waiting for months and the problems with their local PD. Thank You TRPD.....
  12. Amen.... Organizing a large crowd to just holler out or speak nonsense is useless.. Next time get a couple of dozen well spoken individuals and give them a piece of paper with prepared speaking points. Ask everyone else to provide support by just being there, no need to speak. The idea of showing up and speak your mind only does the cause a disservice. Mikeg1970
