Is it normal for most towns to mail out reference forms for the applicant? Here in Pemberton I was given the reference forms, and had to have my references fill them out so that I could hand them in with the rest of the paperwork. I submitted all the paperwork on March 19th, and got my FID and P2P on May 17. I was really surprised because everyone I talked to said it would take at least three months.

Went there this weekend, was setup at 20, and there was one more to our right so 21.

I really wish they would schedule these at night so I could make it to them, but I guess the whole point is to schedule them when it is the most inconvenient for opponents of the bills.

Wish I could make it, but there's no way I could get there in time. I did email him, and urge him to veto these goofy laws that will have no affect on stemming gun violence.

I ended up ordering one from the Kentucky Gun Shop on Saturday. The price was really good, and I got free shipping, and no sales tax. I went to the a gun show in Philadelphia on Sunday and saw a couple, but they were more expensive, and I would have had to get it shipped back to NJ anyway.

Thanks. Unfortunately it didn't find any in my area, so I guess I'm going to have to get it off of Gunbroker.

So I just got my FID card, and permit to purchase last month. I've already picked up a Mossberg, but I'm in the market for a handgun. I've decided on a Ruger SR45, but the few FFL's in my area that I've visited do not have any, and do sound confident that they will be getting any in the near future. Is there a web site I can go to that will help me locate specific firearms in my area without having to call every shop in my area. I seem to remember having visited a site a while ago, but am unable to locate it now. I would be grateful for any help.
