Who can recommend a good swivel attachment for my AR? I'm a little bit of a newb to the AR platform. Just got my first one last month. I bought the BOGO Blue Gear sling and now I'm looking into how to mount it. A couple of guys on here helped me figure out the female mount to get to go on my Diamond Handguards but I'm not sure #1 what is a good US manufacture to buy from? I don't want to buy cheap Chinese crap. Not Troy - I won't patronize them. So I'm looking at Magpul. I'm also looking at Uncle Mike's and UTG I see on Amazon. I have this idea: I say all the time we need to get a large group ...10, 15 even 20 people and go door-to-door in that large group - not break up into small 1-2 person groups - but go as one large group and knock on doors; and when someone answers the door we say something like, "We the people are taking back our country. But it's going to take a lot of effort and we MUST HAVE your help. Will you give us 15 minutes of your time?" I think it's just too easy to shut the door on 1-2 people. But if 20 people are on your doorstep I bet you stop and listen to what they have to say. I'd really like to test this theory. I got laid off in 2013 and they let me keep my brand new iPhone 5s so I unlocked it, paid $10 for a Metro PCS SIM card and now I pay a flat fee of $50 per month for unlimited talk/text and 4GB of LTE/4G data. My bill is never 1 cent over $50 and if I go over my 4GB they throttle me back to 3G. That happened to me the 1st month and then I figured out how to set certain apps to NOT work on cellular - it's never happened again. BUT the service isn't as good as ATT or Verizon but you get what you pay for. I have a Verizon phone from my new company and for $50 a month I can keep all my personal life off my work phone. Not that I think I have anything to worry about OR that I think anyone would be checking what's on my phone but it's just better sense. Yeah that's what I thought. So really $450 isn't that good a deal if you end up paying shipping and tax. It's probably a couple bucks less than buying from one of our guys on here who have their own FFL. I know personally I probably paid about $20 more than what this one would cost - and I probably saved that in gas and tolls.
