  1. I got the picture from an Asbury Park Press post this morning. I wouldn’t refer to them as prime journalistic material by any means, but I don’t know if they’re into trolling the PR TH debate. Boo boo covers. And I wasn’t aware they still made them in non Disney princess print.
  2. Chesty, Patton, the guy who invented Reese’s Peanutbutter Cups, and Mr. Rogers. Cause I’m sure he was a raging maniac who knew how to have a good time.
  3. Just wanted to say thanks again for the invite today. Bob is a wealth of knowledge on all things IDPA. Seems like a good group of guys at the Somerset Club that are nothing short of impressive, especially the guy with the revolver. Had a great time checking it out and look forward to shooting next month.

  5. About that recipe... Talking about Navy chow, I just pictured Buckman from Down Periscope. My last deployment was Kuwait and Iraq, Army DFAC food wasn’t bad. Breakfast was pretty good.

  7. Not to hijack the thread, but steaks had Everglades Cactus Dust and the mash potatoes was Everglades Heat in a maple bacon bourbon gravy. I have no ties to the company that I’m plugging it for any purpose other than it’s amzaing!

  11. Here in NJ, I carry hopes that the need never arises. Out of state, mainly Florida, G23 but recently went to the G43.
  12. Yeah, I’d love to go back. At least reserve. I’m 36, so I could if I really wanted, but I have two small children at home. Think my rodeo is over.
  13. Nice! Don’t know how you guys do it. I always wanted to go on a sub, maybe for a day or two. I’d love to experience an emergency surfacing. But I think I’d go stir crazy down there for extended periods. Heard you guys eat real well though.
  14. I went in an AO but crossrated to BM to get into the small boat community. What years did you serve? I was in 03-11, served in Iraq and Kuwait.

  17. Well, unfortunately I’m a vegan so... haha just breaking balls. That would be horrible! Grew up in Taylor Ham country but since migrating south of NJ’s Mason Dixon line, I’ve become a pork roll guy. Just makes more sense to call it by what it is rather than the brand.

  19. Hey Mrs. Peel, Thanks for all the info. I shoot recreationally. I used to belong to Cherry Ridge but after the kids were born I just didnt have much time. Theyre a little older now so it’s easier to get away for a few hours. I currently belong to Range 14 down at Ft Dix. Lately I’m getting really into the idea of competition shooting, but don’t have the first clue on how or where to start. I’ll definitely keep my eyes open for the meet and greets.   20. Quick introduction. Born and raised in Hudson County and moved to Monmouth about five years ago after getting out of the Navy. Look forward to being involved in the site and hopefully make some acquaintances.
