  1. Looking forward to watching it tonight...anyone see the Billy the Kid movie that was released earlier this month?
  2. Eh, it doesn't roll off the tongue as nice. Porkroll and cheese...yuck.
  3. Based off this high-tech map I found, I fall in the Taylor Ham demographic. Taylor Ham, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel. Can't forget the salt, pepper, ketchup.
  4. Wilson 47D work great in my Remington R1. Take it as you will, but the factory Remington mags also look remarkably close to Mec-Gar (which I've had luck with in my Sig), .
  5. I've had a Remington R1 Enhanced in Stainless for a couple years now. I thinks its a great gun for the price I paid from Buds (around $700 plus a factory rebate, if I remember correctly). I don't have an exact round count on it, but it functions flawlessly with new and reloaded ammo. I also enjoy the the factory upgrades you get for the price (FO front sight, slide serrations, beavertail, etc). Looking back, I definitely have no regrets or concerns about the function/fit and finish of the pistol. Aesthetically, I probably would've liked nicer looking grips and the Remington branding on the slide to be smaller, but that's just nitpicking. Good luck with your search. There's a lot of great 1911s in this price range like the Springfields mentioned above.
  6. First came across NJGF a few years back when I was Googling questions about state gun laws (permit wait times and general application questions)...used the forum as a resource ever since. Finally joined earlier this week
  7. Hello everyone, New member from western Essex County checking in. My top three "home" ranges are RTSP-Randolph, Bullet Hole, and Reloaderz. For the past few months I've been enjoying Reloaderz because its so darn close to my house and its generally empty when I go. Mostly shoot handgun, but got bit by the rifle bug last year when I picked my first AR. I'm glad I came across a forum/resource with with a bunch of like-minded NJ enthusiasts. Outside the range or my close buddies, sometimes I feel like I'm on a desert island when you talk about guns in this state. Look forward to chatting with everyone!
