BrianN 0 Posted April 1, 2013 Anyone know of any good public/fish and game rifle ranges just across the PA (north of 78) or NY borders? I don't think I would be going often enough to justify a Cherry Ridge membership.

BrianN 0 Posted April 1, 2013 Thanks for the responses everyone. I have been visiting the forums for quite some time and figured I would finally post. I made my first firearm purchase last week, had my FID for about a year. Finally found a mosin in nice shape for a good price and jumped on it. Can't wait to take it to a range, still waiting on my NICS to clear, 9 days now.

A couple of weeks ago in real America I walked out of the place with 2 rifles
BrianN 0 Posted April 2, 2013 My FFL said its at about 7 to 10 days now. Tomorrow is 10 days but I won't have time to pick it up until Wednesday so I'll give him a call then if I don't hear from him tomorrow. I'm just glad I at least have my FID already. I believe the standard wait now is closing in on 5 to 6 months except for a few lucky municipalities where the cops don't drag their feet/are totally overwhelmed with new applications
JTS1469 0 Posted April 4, 2013 I joined EFGA last friday night and was there sat. midday. Great day only used the pistol range but I'm sold on the place. met a few people, learned a few things and shot for a few hours without any wait and enjoyed the day
