  1. Yeah I have been carrying a few months every day now. Going to feel strange when they outlaw it.
  2. Pretty much. If you are in Sussex/Morris/Passaic County (Wayne and environs) I can notarize for you for free. Let me know.
  3. I know several from out of state who got approved, permit in hand.
  4. Delta in Wantage next to Cow Patty's usually has.
  5. Amendment to order received. Painless. Sussex NJSP firearms sent it to me and I pick up a printed copy from them.
  6. Do you have a Texas DL? If the photo is separate from the DL, that's new.
  7. That's not what DPS says. They say they use the DL photo. https://www.dps.texas.gov/section/handgun-licensing/ltc-fingerprint-and-photo-information
  8. It's the same identogo. The class is not bad. They cover Texas laws, use of force, conflict de-escalation and a live fire qual. Most of the shots are at 5 yards, qualify with any gun, carry any gun. You can even rent a gun. I did it years ago when it was called a CHL. You can now even take the classroom portion online. For residents they use your photo on file with the DMV.
  9. For flying it works great. It's federally recognized ID. It will of course also let you cross the border to Canada or Mexico by land or sea. That said I didn't want to get carded buying liquor, show my DL, then the clueless store clerks see "not valid for real id purposes" and think it's a fake ID.
  10. Use your 4 digit municipal code of your residence. The one you put on your state income tax. https://www.state.nj.us/treasury/taxation/pdf/lpt/cntycode.pdf
  11. Thomas also specifically said that you can’t make the entire island of Manhattan a sensitive place. so that means you can’t make all of NJ or NY a sensitive place either, and especially not my vehicle.
  12. That appeal is already in the works. It was pushed back down by the supreme court in light of Bruen. However ANJRPC may need plaintiffs.
  13. No issues with me. The FARS form only has MI anyway and not full middle name. So no way around it.
  14. Took me like 2 hours because it was North Bergen. I will never go back there again. Too crowded and the security guard likes to yell at people. But I have the star, license mailed from West Trenton in about 2 weeks. I normally use my passport card to fly though.
  15. Alex is OK. He shows up at the state house occasionally and I’ve spoken to him within the past month. I’m a member of NJ2AS, and I was a member going back to the Fiamingo days.
  16. Regarding the notion that courts that are “waiting on Murphy’s new gun law” - the latest version of A4769 says they have to process any permits still in process. Once that runs out they are done.
  17. The only consolation is that gun for hire gets the money and they support 2A in very concrete ways. Not to mention I got an excuse to shoot.
  18. I did all mine for $25 each except a single action army 22 replica pistol by heritage arms. So now I have 4 guns on the order. The initial was $125 so total $200 to qualify with 4 guns. Yes it’s expensive and an infringement. Not disputing that.
  19. I know one or two people who got them. Eric saperstein was one of them.
  20. It is not binding to the third circuit but it is a good indicator of what will happen in the courts here.
  21. Varies by county but generally you have to send a letter to the court requesting amendment, along with qual sheets and proof of ownership. If your permits have guns listed then you also need a new photo. Some courts want you to go through your PD. Some (like mine) want you to send it directly to the court and copy your PD.
