I think the rifles were sighted in at the arsenals with bayos extended and attached in the USSR. Common soviet practice was to always have the bayo attached. I guess they thought it was a symbol that they would fight till the end. I think that's why a 91/30 bayo is super hard to get off once you put it on.

What a great cheap caliber! I stocked up when it was cheap! Wish Highpoint made a cheap carbine chambered for it.

ive got a Hungarian P63 and it does have a horrible trigger. With the wolf spring kit it became manageable
