  1. I currently use one of those black & decker folding tables with great results. I have three presses on it and about to add a second lee pro 1000. The others are single stage presses. I also cast which can be very fun. I salvage range lead and melt it down. All the copper rises to the top. I now reload 9mm, 38 sp, 357 mag and 45 auto. I will soon start casting and reloading 40 s&w. I definitely noticed the savings when I go to the range and never need to buy ammo.
  2. Thanks everyone! My computer has crapped out so I have been lurking around on my phone browser. Hopefully my computer issues get resolved and I can resume my normal routine of pitching in. Fiancee got me two new tires and a $50 card to Dicks. thinking about a 22 rifle.
  3. I use a Lee Pro 1000 and it likes to set primers in sideways if there is there is a single flake of powder in the wrong spot.
  4. I would buy the kit for that one.
  5. S-4 Military Surplus Phone: 201-342-3366 Fax: 201-342-7637 Email: [email protected] Address: 51 Essex St. Hackensack' date=' NJ 07061 They're a bit stupid and more than a bit rude (this is Jersey, afterall) but the store is packed with goodies. True.
  6. I use the mil surplus ammo cans as long as the seal is intact. There is a mil surplus store near me in Hackensack that has tons of them. Also a nice selection of Garand parts if anyone is in need. Shopping in Target or Home Goods is a good place for the silica gel packets to put in the cans to keep moisture out. They are usually placed in all the drawers and vases and such. I always ask a red shirt if it is okay...
  7. I know another place that has mines underneath the town...
  8. I'm not 100% but I think a buddy of mine tried to find this place only to arrive at a residential house.
  9. HA! When I was in the theater, I yelled "YES!" during this scene. Embarrassed my fiancee..
  10. I have never taken a Gun for Hire class but have been at the BH when they are training. Seems pretty informative and effective. I would give them a try.
  11. Yeah, a UPS unit. They are pretty bulky but work great.
  12. Looking to add: Kel-tec .380 RIA 1911 Still hashing out the legalities of a Sten. 8-)
  13. Blaceys is a joke. I live around the corner from it. What are you looking for? I frequent many junkyards. Looking for the trim around the doors on a 2002 325i. Numbers 1 - 5 on this diagram. Both sides.
  14. Anyone know of any junkyards in the north new jersey area? I remember one where I was able to walk in and pick parts and pay for them at the door. -Thanks.
  15. Ah, wait. I thought you meant the first pic. The black one on the lift is a 1965 Puch SV175. Have a title and everything! Just got it running last year. Has some minor issues that need to be looked at before it is street worthy. Can't wait to cruise in that thing. Have been waiting on the front spoke kit for almost 2 years now from a supplier in Austria. I also have a 77 CB750A Hondamatic which is pretty much fully automatic. Runs okay, just needs a good overall cleaning and some minor odds and ends finished up. really needs fresh gas and a quick carb cleaning. The woman and I would take this for trips to Lake Hopatcong. It was for sale for $1650 but willing to take any offer of cash or guns! Really need the space.
  16. Would you believe it is a honda CB400a? Gear shifter is the auto from nuetral to 1st and 2nd.
  17. Group buy? http://www.gregsmithequipment.com/Atlas ... bp9000.htm
  18. I have a small vintage motorcycle workshop in Hillsdale. Some of the customer bikes became mine. I think I own 8 or 9 right now. only 2 are in non running condition. In my prime, I had two employees but ever since the economy went south, people stopped buying parts or having parts cleaned, etc. Now it is just a big hobby. Great place to cast lead, too. Here are a few of my bikes. Sorry for the HUGE pics. :shifty:
  19. Yup. Needs some regular maintenance which I knew about such as rotors, pads and an alignment. Didn't tap the brakes during my test drive so I didn't know about the faulty bushings. Caveat emptor. :?
  20. I think more of the consequences would fall on the "seller". When I got my C&R license, the ATF agent interviewing me told me this. Probably qualify for numerous charges.
  21. +1. Sunset it a good place to try out a few types. Although not a big selection of makes, they do have a few calibers to choose from. Don't do the clay pigeon there, you will get hooked like I did! Best part about Sunset is that if you bring your own shotgun and ammo, they will let you use their throwing machine and use all the clay discs you want with no charge.
  22. Do you have a lift? I was using an air chisel on it, still wouldn't come off. I would have been able to muscle it off if I wasn't on my back with 2 inches of room to work with. I did it yesterday and my whole body is sore. I am the proud owner of a failed classic motorcycle shop so the tools are there, just no lift so I did it in the alley.
  23. I needed new control arm bushings on my new car (pre-owned). Park Ave BMW wanted $800 for the job and said it would take all day. Sears gave me an estimate of $935. Warranty wouldn't cover them unless they actually broke. I went and purchased the bushings online for $60 and installed them myself. Took about 2 hours. Not entirely difficult but I did have to cut one of them off because it was not budging. Now I have some cash for that Rock Island 1911! ...just waiting on permits.
