I stole mine from maxim and tailored it to reflect an infamous picture that's been floating around the internet for years.

According to http://www.ecy.wa.gov/programs/hwtr/dem ... oison.html lead is not absorbed through the skin for the most part. Inhalation and ingestion are the two main ways a person can get lead poisoning, so I just make sure to wash my hands thoroughly before I eat or touch my face after shooting.

Unfortunately I can't make it tomorrow But I'm trying to find a day next week to head up there. Can't wait for my summer (weekend free) work schedule to kick in.

Well I took the AR out at CR again since I had the day off. Wanted to see if tightening the scope mount helped or if I just stink. At first I think it was a mixture of both. After a bunch of fidgeting with my shooting position and another 4 clicks down on my scope I went from target #1 to target #2. I was pretty pleased--a little more practice and I'll be good to go FWIW I was shooting Remington UMC 55gr at 100yd scoped from bags.

I have two 10 round and two 20-to-15 round steel mags. I can't say I've used them extensively (yet) but FWIW so far they have been faultless. Not to mention the price is right.

Now I readily admit most of that was probably ME, but when I cleaned it last night I did discover the scope mount had some room to be tightened. Turns out it had several more easy-revolutions in it, maybe that will help next time. See if I can take her out again next week.

I don't know about 6 months..but next on my list is a 4 inch 1911. I'm leaning Kimber, can't decide if I want the Pro Carry II with the aluminum or steel frame.

And Frank it is .223 thank goodness! I love .22 but I figured I'd upgrade to "bang" from "pop." Not quite ready for "boom" yet. I'll PM you about CR next week. I didn't even specify did I? derp :oops: It's a Rock River Arms 20" Predator Pursuit. .223, 1:8 twist, "Wylde" chamber, all the typical RRA goodies including a very nice 2 stage trigger. Everything I read online said the RRA 2 stage is "decent" but my impression at least from dry firing once or twice it seems VERY light and crisp!

FINALLY GOT MY REAL-BOY TOY NOT to be confused with a real boy-toy mmm stainless.. I got the Burris PEPR mount on midway and I'm waiting on some glass ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN GET SOME MAGAZINES IN STATE ASAP? thing didn't come with any :( Don't mind the foot.

Good news dudes! I can come Sunday since I don't have to go to that family shindig until 3..so I can probably get there around 9:30 and stay till 1

She should be here Monday or Tuesday! I'm pumped. Except I'll be out of town until Friday next week On the other hand I might be able to come to CR on Sunday. I don't have to leave for that party until 3, so I can stay until about 1:00. When's everyone getting there? 9:00?
