:ring ring: Hello? "Yes George?" "Yes, who is this?" "This is BPD, your FID and permit are here. Did you send a letter to the mayor?" "Yes" "I called you last week to tell you that they were done to come on in. I called you on the same number, didn't you get my message?" "Nope, must of been another George you talked too. I'll be in tomorrow morning, thank you" Now, I personally don't like pissin on anyone..BUT I also do not like being "dicked" around either.

Where in northern NJ is worth renting an apartment?
georgemc replied to bbk's topic in General Discussion
If you go to the Nutley Belleville area except to pay 1000-1300 dollars for a 1 bedroom apartment. It's quite expensive down in that area. M I live towards the Nutley border. I have a 3 bedroom apt I rent. First floor of a house and pay 1100. Got lucky and the area and place is nice. Closer towards the Newark area is a bit more shady. -
NJAC 13:54-1.4 (e) The chief of police of an organized full time police department of the municipality where the applicant resides, or the Superintendent, when the applicant is a non-resident of this State or when the municipality does not have a full time department, shall accept and investigate applications for firearms purchaser identification cards and permits to purchase handguns. Wonder if this applies to me.

I was thinking the same, gonna see how I feel tomorrow about stopping in and asking. For me, this whole thing is total BS.

Was shooting the breeze with a Belleville motorcycle cop and I found out that the Chief has been in the hospital since late January and expected to return to work April 1st. His secretary takes some work to the hospital from time to time, permits included. I think this is going to be a long wait.

Not sure what is going on at Xanadu's, but last night was the first time I've seen the mall lights on. -

I purchased recently the 5.11 tactical http://www.workngear.com/cgi-bin/frontrunner.cgi?ri=111&rc=WKNG&rs=T&ro=T&pid=190&pm=MENS+WORK+BOOTS&sid=12003&brd=511TACT&nid=78&flg=S&pri=115 very comfortable. We do some serious walking and climbing around our plant.
