Came out to Cherry Ridge yesterday (sorry guys I didn't see the group there, I was at the pistol range around noon, but I didn't look around for you guys because I figured she already had enough on her plate shooting for the first time and trying to learn the ropes). Started her off with the P226 22lr and she actually did really well, she actually asked me to move the target further away! I dont know if she will ever come back with me but I think she had some fun at least -

Hey guys, havn't met anyone yet but I may head up to Cherry Ridge on Sunday anyway (don't have alot of time, just want to hit the pistol range to try out the new Sig and put a few more through the HK for an hour or two in the morning) but if I can tell who you guys are I will stop by and say hi -

I have no data to back this up, just an opinion, it would just worry me that they can produce the entire gun, sell it for a profit to the manufacturer and the seller all for under $300 that still has the same quality frame as one supporting .45

What is that pistol you are shooting? don't recognize it.

I read this somewhere too, i'm not sure how comfortable I would be doing that though...

FWIW I also signed up in June (new member though) at Cherry Ridge and received my membership card in about 5 weeks (got it toward the beggining of July)

The gun shops near me are all on pretty high density city blocks so sometimes I have to park around the corner on the public street...

How does CCI Blazer Brass .45 compare to Winchester White Box and Federal American Eagle?

This is kind of what I was thinking too, but I can't imagine it would be legal just to take a stroll with an unlocked pistol case (to the range, of course)...

You right, I mean cased and within a brown paper bag, but not locked

I know how silly this question seems I just got thinking about it and am curious what the actual legality is behind it - say for example you just bought a new gun at the store and are walking with the gun cased, in a brown paper bag unlocked out to lock in the back of your car. wouldn't this technically be illegal transport from the door of the store to the trunk of your car, and couldn't conceivably a cop having a really bad day and a want to screw you over nab you on "walking down the street with an unlocked firearm"? Obviously even if this is true there is nothing you can do about it, just wondering if there is a caveat that makes this legal, or something.

Variety is the spice of life! I'm just saying I would like to see some other *modern* pistols being used, but hey, its business. It seems to me that Beretta probably won't let them use other modern pistols based on whatever advertising agreement they have (they have only used historic pistols otherwise) but we shall see.

Funny - none of the trick shot guns were Berettas (Winchester and 2 Smiths as I recall) - just the challenge gun. + the voting guns + the entire pistol challenge episode guns

I'm getting a little sick of the whole Beretta spin. I realize they must be sponsoring the show in a huge way, but I wish they would mix it up a little more.

Every time I buy a gun I get really bad buyers remorse probably mostly because they are so damn expensive, even though I know I will have tons of fun with them ect. (not that this has stopped me in the past, and just picked up 2 pistol permits this morning!), just wondering how you guys justify the cost?
