  1. I had an MOE installed on my 15-22 by a gunsmith. Any smith should be able to do it.. I got mine done at NJ Firearms Guild. I think he charged about $60? Good luck!
  2. Does he want to sell it?
  3. Can anyone speak to their experience with either of these pistols? I'm thinking about possibly buying my first 1911 type pistol and these two seem to fit what I'd want. Any other suggestions?
  4. NICE! Finally dude. Whatcha gonna get?
  5. I've been watching shooting competitions on YouTube and some of these guys are amazing with their shooting and reload speed, which is why it made me think of this question.. If you're good with your race gun setup (eg. STI or SV Infinity 1911/2011 style guns), would there be any reason NOT to use this as your home defense or carry gun? True, they're usually bigger and bulkier, but if you can accurately take down multiple baddies and reload in less than 2 seconds.. Thoughts? The SV Infinity guns are beautiful... I'd want to get one just to admire it..
  6. All you need to do is pull the slide back about 1/4" to reset the striker True, but its a PITA. Especially w/ a snap cap. Maybe the recoil spring still hasn't loosened up enough on mine, but it takes a bit of finesse to pull the slide back just enough to reset the trigger yet not so hard that it'll eject the snap cap.
  7. I love my Beretta... Its a Brigadier 92FS INOX. Shoots phenomenally. Probably one of the most accurate handguns I've ever shot. But I also love my G19C... So what does that mean for you? GET BOTH!!!!1!11!!11    Personally though, if I had to choose, I'd say get the 92FS first. I think its more n00b friendly. Plus there's most stuff on it to play with when you just wanna dry fire it around the house (single/double action, safety/decocker, etc etc) You cant really dry fire the Glock too easily since its SAO..
  8. Bought this from a fellow forum member. Thank you sir... she's found a good, new home.   I took the liberty of giving the barrel a nice polish. Hope to shoot her soon! And without further ado, here she is...... . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
  9. Ha! You talk like it didn't really happen or something.
  10. Ok. Kinda off topic and this may have already been discussed in this uber extensive thread (which, I'm sure will be of great record after the Zombie Invasion hits), but I started reading a book called World War Z. Same author as the Zombie Survival Guide. Its quite good so far..
  11. Hi Matt.. The awesome picture I posted must've distracted you from what I wrote in my post.. Send me a PM if you want to know where I got it done.
  12. Hey Scrap, our 15-22's look pretty similar! haha! I have a Magpul MOE stock on mine. LOVE it. Had it installed and pinned by a smith. Here's a quick pic -
  13. I have two Mossbergs. A 590 and a 590A1, one with bead and the other with the ghost rings. Personally, I prefer the ghost rings, but I shoot just as well w/ the bead. The benefit of the bead sight is you don't have to ever worry about windage and elevation adjustments... just point and shoot..!
  14. What I want to know is, what kind of bass-ackwards logic did they use to come up with this list?? Pay special attention to the Sig Mosquito and Walther P22 being singled out as "unsafe." HUH?? What makes them any less safe than other firearms, or more specifically, other 22LR handguns like the Ruger??? :?: :?: :?: Here - https://portal.chicagopolice.org/portal ... -final.pdf
  15. The Sentry safe I posted above from Wal-Mart just went up about $50! Maybe they're catching on that it was being sold for too little?
  16. If anyone's looking for a smaller/midsize safe (10-14 long guns), Wal-Mart online has some good prices on the Sentry safes + 97 cent shipping! Im not sure if its a sale or a mistake, but I see most other places selling these safes for about $150 more BEFORE shipping. Here's the 10 gun version (Electronic Lock) http://www.walmart.com/ip/SentrySafe-10 ... k/11064230 For some reason, the same one without the E-Lock is MORE expensive! :?: :?: Here's the 14 gun version (Non E-Lock) http://www.walmart.com/ip/SentrySafe-14 ... k/11064231 Like I said, I'm not sure if this is typical Wal-Mart pricing but the practically free shipping is a no-brainer if you're looking for one of this size. They're not fire-resistant though, so keep that in mind.
  17. Holy c12ap dude! Is that the Steel!?? And you're gonna shoot it!?! NICE!!!
  18. Just saw it w/ wifey. Not bad! Theatre was not crowded at all. We watched the 820pm showing at the big Loews/AMC on Rt. 1 in Edison.
  19. My Brig also has a metal trigger. Does the INS spring make a big difference? Was it difficult to install?
  20. Hey Ray. Bullet Hole is closed until next week..! Check it - viewtopic.php?f=35&t=9041
  21. Why do you want a slide that is cut for a compensator that has a non-ported barrel? What I mean is I'd get the ported version + extra non-ported barrel so that I can just swap the barrel out depending on what I feel like shooting. Much easier than getting a regular G19 & deciding I want to port the slide later on...
  22. After some more research, I'm really leaning toward a G19C + a non-ported barrel so I have an option to interchange. Aarrrghhhhh. These forums are bad for my bank acct...
  23. Don't mean to revive an old thread, but just curious, whats "new" on a Gen 4 G19 over a previous generation? G19 sure is nice... :romance-heartsthree: :angry-banghead:
