  1. Yeah, got me there. I actually got it fixed-- It was caused by the key getting wet through the crack in the plastic. Bummer! Had to get towed, but they didn't charge me for the towing. I think they more than made up for it in the price of the key, though. This one I'm keeping dry.
  2. He drives an ex-cop Crown Vic. Still has the spotlight! Awesome 8-)
  3. Considering what you drive, you should know something about that, right?
  4. How many rounds do we need? I'm assuming there's ammo available for purchase. I'm down to my last 50. What's the pricing like for non-members?
  5. I want granite grips on my 1911. Too bad they would crack on the first shot
  6. http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewIt ... =182647688 Is that a load of bunk or what! Someone's trying to capitalize on the guillable
  7. Well, I guess if you're running a sand rail out in Arizona, that's possible, but you'd be surprised how well that mount sticks on the dash. I certainly was. Besides, if you're jerking around like Jimmie Johnson you already know where you're at and don't need a GPS. I think he means it will get stolen
  8. 10mm can make a bunch of stuff go boom
  9. What are you going to do with a Domino's pizza at the range??
  10. Don't think I'm going to make it tonight. Might have to work late.
  11. Lets See...which has more potential for doing damage, a large Diameter, frangible. Fluid-filled object designed to break on impact Moving at around 280-300 FPS, or a Small diameter, SOLID projectime moving at 350-400 FPS. Is that a trick question? We're talking about a squirrel here. The paintball will do more damage. Same speed, more mass = more force. Paintballs can welt human flesh even when they break, and they don't always break. It could easily break the bones of a rodent. The airsoft pellet won't do anything but give it a scare. Basically what I'm trying to say: If you want to kill a squirrel, kill it. I have nothing against that; it's a pest. But it's still a living creature. Don't drag out its death by hitting it with something stupid like a paintball.
  12. Yep looking for FMJ, real military surplus. I read somewhere that there isn't much left out there, thus negating cost savings and buy-in-bulk-ability
  13. I consider hitting a squirrel with a paintball excessive and borderline cruel. That paintball can give the little guy internal bleeding! I would have no qualms against shooting a squirrel with a high density plastic bb fired from a spring-powered airsoft gun, though. Would prevent it from coming back, wouldn't injure it and it's probably kinda fun

  15. Ever read the book "The Watchers"? Why, it's The Outsider of course.
  16. How did I miss that? Again, sorry to hear about Sandy. I'll be raising a glass too
  17. Yeah, I got lunch today too. Though that's more because of "company buys lunch Fridays" than Sysadmin Day.
  18. Is there still some milsurp .45 ball ammo floating around, or has it all been bought up or destroyed? If there's still some left, where can I find it? All of the "surplus ammo" sites are just selling bulk commercial .45 in the usual brands (Magtech, BVAC, Tula, etc).
  19. http://www.sysadminday.com I know there's a few of us on NJGF. So, what did you get us?
  20. Sorry to hear that, man. It's always tough losing man's best friend. What was the dog's name?
  21. He made you? What, did he hold it to your head first?
  22. I don't see any harm in trimming the blank borders. That's what I did before laminating; nobody has complained.
