  1. Thank you Oakridgefirearms price us great. Will check them out. Thanks for your help.
  2. So even it's a gift/inheritance I just can't bring them with me on the plane? Not the handguns what if I decide to bring just the shotguns?
  3. Bringing firearms into NJ/USA from Pakistan. Hi guys hope all is well. I have s question my dad left me couple Beretta Over and under shotguns and couple gand guns I believe it's a CZ Chez made from WW2. How do I bring them here I am in NJ. I am planning a visit to see my mom and was wondering woukd it be easy to bring it here. I have a FPID card and I do own hand guns here in NJ. Thanks in advance
  4. Classic Pistol Range in South Hampton PA, around 30 miles but there is never traffic or delays so i would say from Hillsborough they are the closet range available.
  5. Well that is why i voted so it would be closer to my house and i would make it to my first MEET. As far as your other comment that i do not post much well i do spend a lot of time reading all the info. This is a great website and when i joined you guys always met on Tuesday and that is one night when i work at night time and it was and still is impossible for me to come and shoot. I did shoot in Shore Shot and some one shooting there asked me to join this website long time ago. You all are great and it would be nice to meet you. I live in Hillsborough so i usually go to South Hampton, PA to shoot. Even though i have the membership at Shore Shot. Good luck with your meet and I will try my best to come. Is it on Wednesday ?
  6. I have purchased my 92FS from Chris and Mike, i named the price and Mike gave it to me on that. They have a good selection i had problems with my Beretta Mags i called Mike he asked me to come down and he replaced it for me in no time, without any paperwork or anything. Good shop and good collection. I recommend them to all my friends.
  7. I bought mine through Lous Mike is a great guy and he gave me a great price on my beretta 92FS his price was only couple dollars more than Paul and Tony. I live in Hillsborough so i wanted to buy from him as if i needed service. You could name your price with MIke and if it is reasonable he will make a deal. He is the one who told me once never pay MSRP for your firearm which was pretty strange coming from a gun dealer. Rahway Guild are way over priced like Efingers and Sport Randevous in Flemington. Good Luck
  8. After owning Beretta 92FS i could say for sure Sig P226 hands down better than a Beretta ..... i should have gotten P226 instead way better weapon, quality and reliability jut my 2 cents
  9. You are telling me if i go to PA i only pay 8.50 for a box of ammo as compare to 18.50 i paid last week for 9mm WWB.... Where in PA? I asked a cop at a Dunkin Donut today as if it is legal to buy ammo in PA and bring it to NJ he said as long as i have a valid FID card and i am able to buy the ammo legally there are no restrictions on that ,,,,, So i guess PA here i come.... Thanks
  10. So you are saying that you need to pay $ 18 every time you apply for a permit i never heard that in Hillsborough before.... Initially they charged me $ 62.50 and now when ever i need a permit i give them a call and they mail me the forms by mail $ 2 check for each permit and just the wait... May be it is different in different towns but Hillsborough is real easy ..
  11. They both are so different so its not easy to compare them side by side,,, there are good table top reviews on youtube by Nutnfancy and they could be some what helpful I have a Glock 17 and i am about to pick up my beretta 92fs so they are also two of my favorite 9mm hand guns. i my self was there so i have decided to own both but so far all of friends with Beretta have found it to be problematic hand gun so if you r looking for something with ease and less care go for a Glock(cheap as hell when using your GSSF discount) Beretta character, heavy, quality more mag capacity than the 17 I love my Glock 17 and i have really not owned a Beretta just yet will be picking up next saturday from SS. So after that if you would like to shoot both and get the feel just let me know i could let you use my guns good luck
  12. Wow ! what an amazing experience it was. Had a lot fun met with great people who were really very helpful. Wait was not bad at all. It was fun even just hanging out and watching people shoot. Did not as well as thought but still got great advises from experienced shooters on how to get better. Everyone said i was not resetting the trigger properly, i would let go all the way before pulling it back. All the RO's were so friendly and helpful also. Did try to find your names on the charts but did not find you guys( Old School and Kristi ) I shot the Comp today to get some practice now tomorrow will shoot the Am civilian. Wish me luck. Thanks for your advise on going to the practice first, It did help a lot. I was having trouble with the plates all day long. When went to the Glock armorer he said my front sight was a little bent towards the left side so i think that was causing all the misses. He was a great guy, he changed my front sights and recoil spring for free and cleaned my Glock inside out really well. Thanks for all your help in explaining the whole procedure, I really do appreciate it. Will try to meet you guys at one of the meets. Take care
  13. WOW what a gun, congrats and let us know after you hit the range .....Enjoy
  14. My Glock was a blue label so it comes with 3 mags, i think white and red label Glocks come with only 3 mags. If you go to Lawman Supply in Egg harbor city they usually throw in the 3rd mag for free. Sometimes they also give you a good deal on night sights also. I wanted the stock sights but i think it was only $ 40 more for the TrueGlo sights. I think i made a mistake not to get them. So you learn i guess next time for sure, I am planing to get a Glock 19 this year and will get night sights on it for sure. Glockmeister.com has them on sale for $ 49.00 right now if someone wants to get them.
  15. I paid $399.00+tax+Nic for my Glock 17RTF2 through GSSF purchase program i was not getting that price anywhere else. The only place i know who participates in Gssf discount program is Lawmen Supply in Egg Harbor City. The best part is there is an outside range on a 3 miles distance from them so it was fun buying it and shooting it right than and there. As far as Lawmen goes they are very professional and awesome, good customer service. They sold me the blue label Glock for $432.00 OTD. I asked if he could do anything better and they gave me the third magazine for free so there you another savings of $30.00. $ 432 for the blue label and three mags just can not get better than that for a new Glock. I heard the Gen4 Glocks are for $ 425.00 instead of 399.99. I do not know of a single place in NJ who could sell you at that price and the membership procedure is very simple. Download the membership form from www.gssfonline.com fax it to the number and within 2 weeks you will receive your package with some free goodies from Glock(like the hat a lot) and if you call them please ask Donna B to send you the purchase voucher ASAP. Hope this helps you G34 is an amazing handgun i am also planing on getting the G34 Slide and a barrel for my G17 frame.
  16. Thank you so much for all the great info, i am already a member and i did sign up for one division so far but will sign up for the other at the match. I did receive the email stating that if i bring the print out they will not charge me the walk in fees which is good, i plan on bringing 500 rounds with me, ammo is not a problem thanks to a Walmart in PA......paid $ 9.47 for the WWB/50. I have WWB 115gr, Federal 115gr and Remington(green box) 147gr, does it matter what i use. Would the accuracy be better with 147 gr over 115gr ? Thanks once again and hope to see you guys there ttyl
  17. Do we follow a set sequence or we could do any phase first or last, i mean could we do the plates before glock M or Glock 5?
  18. Old school is this your first time also attending the GSSF match or you have been there before. Should i sign up for 2 classes or just one would be fine I have a G17 so i could go for Am. Class and Am. Competition I know they say one could sign up for match there aswell so i guess i will just show up real early on Saturday. ttyl
  19. http://www.cjrpc.com/ and check for the schedule for NJ match 19th and the 20th june http://www.gssfonline.com/match-info.cfm Check it out i am planing to go on Saturday would be first time for me so i would like to check it out if you are not a member yet do not worry they will sign you up at the place and it's only $ 25 to participate for each class. I am going to shoot in Amateur class but there are many. Check the GSSF website for all the info. Hope this helps ttyl
  20. Hi, guy's i am new here. I was just wondering how many people are going to be there at the GSSF match next weekend. I plan to go on the 19th which is a saturday, it would be nice to meet new people. I am fairly new to the game, i usually go to classic pistol range in Southhampton, Pa as it's closer from Hillsborough, NJ. I have shot at Bullet hole and Shoreshot before. I do not like Bullet Hole at all as for their stupid rules( no head shots as you would damage the lights ) and one tube light will cost you $ 10. I like Shoreshot for the range. After NRA range in Fairfax, VA i think Classic pistol range in PA is not bad at all. Will give Brick armory a try next time. It will be first time for me to shoot outdoors at the GSSF match, looking forward to it.
