I think s&w's strategy with this is, according to what I've seen and read, to have a big nationwide release more in line with say how a video game or a movie is released. Really hard to tell from the pic alone But I think its curves and resemblance to its full sized predecessors are what's throwing us all off. Plus it's pictured with the grip extension.

Agreed, I don't know why glock hasn't already jumped on the bandwagon. People are obviously clamoring for it and glock has some of the most brand loyal shee.. i mean customers
