Do any of those safes have a bungee cord on the inside of the door? Mine is a Sentry and it has one. It is woven like a shoe lace. Sentry extols this as a great feature. Only thing is, I can't figure out what it is good for. OK, maybe my half of the treasure map. What do you store in there?

Thanks, everyone, for the warm welcome. I think this is a good site. I haven't been posting much the first week because I am trying to glean some information from within the site. I have questions but I figure most have already been covered previously so I'm looking for posted topics. I am a mod on a fishing site and I know how redundant things can get. I just did this in June. I went to the local PD with the form and mental health filled out, paid the $5 for the card and $2 for the permit. The officer then gave me the fingerprint form with instructions. That was another $60.25 off a credit card when I made the appointment for the prints. Police chief notified me when everything came back and I went to PD to pick up card and permit. Time period for all of this was June 7 - July 15.
