Was just a slight lack of knowledge (go figure) on the firearms liason officer. After he "cleared" it with the chief was wham bam. Kinda sad when I know more info than the cop who's job it is to be on top of these things. Anyway he's a good guy and I believe this was a new position/learning exp. for him as I've not PPP'd with him before.

I know the rules and am just applying straight up for 3, no exemptions etc. I hope they realize their mis-understanding and this doesnt turn into some clusterf*ck of them not knowing the law/rules.

Just now got off the phone with my local police gun officer and he's trying to tell me that i can only apply (I'm not confusing with buy)for one gun permit per 30 days?! I asked him if he's confusing the OGAM purchase with what he's trying to tell me.He said according to his Lt its some kind of new rule and he's gonna look into it as he's a little fuzzy about it. Also said that for more than one permit there is a state form? Wtf? I asked him to re-clarify with the Lt and he will get back to me. Does anyone know what they are talking about?

Big headsmack on me! The 5A, of course, and its always with you. Thats what happens when your mind goes off on a rant on the ridiulous abyss of our (gun)laws and forget the most basic right.Wont happen again.

So in the course of being pulled over/stopped by a cop he asks you if you are in possesion of any guns, you do not have to declare it/them? You just keep repeating "I dont have to answer that" or "why are you asking me that"? Can I see the quote/right/statute(whatever) that addresses that as I'd like to carry that in my back pocket.Not doubting it just want to be able to back-up my choice of words when discussing the topic with the officer.I guess technically by not answering you're not lying but certainly not difusing the situation either and probobly making the cop suspicious,calling for back-up and asking you to step out of the car....

I've done priceline a few times too. Round trip air to Nashville $100, $60 a night a some swanky resort in Newport RI and dirt cheap very nice hotels in Orlando. The key is definately being flexable.

I have bought several handguns off gunbroker with no probs one is my GP100 357. They hold their value and I decided to spend a little more for a new one after"making up my mind" for a used one! Liked the idea of all that guns history being mine. However I still have a some used ones I was able to handle first. The better used revolvers, S&W, Ruger are great quality and should be fine.

Trying to cleanup an old laptop and a while back my son loaded Fallout 3 and I cant un-install it. The cleanup program keeps popping up a error window whenever i hit delete. Any ideas? Hope I dont need the disc, no idea where it is. This game takes up more space than all the other stuff combined,2,268.00 MB.

opened it up yesterday and was so dirty couldnt really see anything. did a careful clean with a very low volume vac hose i rigged off a hand held vac. didnt feel comfortable with poking around so put it all back together and sos.I'm rich so I said f it and took to the local geek shop. Called me in the eve and said it was overwhelmed with malware, the most they've seen in a long time and didnt even start a viral diagnostics yet. Guess thats what you get for using free prtection(AVG). They're recomending a new viral/malware service- ESET. Anyone know of it? BTW, thanks guys for your help.Gotta pick your battles and this one wasnt mine.

ok- was able to get into the bios (bios setup utility) by hiting F2 whenI powered on, all kinds of info, menu with MAIN-ADVANCED-SECURITY-POWER-BOOT-EXIT headings and bunch of other selections and stats. Off to dr. now.

After the Gateway icon it does a quick jump to the black screen withh blinking "dash". Whats "bios"? Will try what you suggested later today but going to cardiologist this AM. Thanx.

DUH- its a Gateway, was looking at Dell on laptop when typing my post, long day.Anyway its old maybe 8 yrs so maybe time to see what else is out there. The Gateway full screen icon does pop up on screen before it goes black. Gonna do a quick clean/monitor swap then bring it to the local geek for a look.Does the same crap after a overnight cool down. I can build a house and swap out car motors but am a friggen Neanderthal with these computer thingys.

Minding my own business reading NJGF when the mouse stopped working. Swapped mice but still nothing.Figured just try a re-boot and then the moniter wont work! Has power but theres a little blinking light in upper leftscreen corner. I'm thinking video card. What do you think?

Kayaking is awesome. Much more fun than a canoe.I used to go alot with my daughter, we each had our own(long gone) and I also recommend going thru the saltwater back bays and marshes down in South Jersey. Brings back a lot of fond memories. Never even thought about licenses I dont think its an issue.

years ago I transferred 9K from my business acc't into a savings type acc't. End of month statements come and I see the 9K in my savings but not deducted from the business acc't.Figure maybe it got crossed in the monthly cycle crossover. FOUR months later still not deducted! So by now I've got the devil/angel whispering on my shoulder routine going on and its making me nuts. So I walked in , went to the branch manager and told her. Know what she said?- ok sir we'll look into it. No thankyou, no OMG's, no "we've been going crazy looking". Still have second thoughts but you gotta think sooner or later it'll catch up and didnt want to get any bad press altho it wasnt my fault.
