I'm checking in for south team. I don't have much experience/training with firearms or hunting. Basically I can be an extra person with a gun who follows orders how about this for the slogan, gonna kinda take Tosser's idea Securing your rear or these, dunno if their appropriate Don't forget to wipe or Someones gotta wipe break down: wipe meaning cleanup/get rid of the zombies. Since we are in Southern NJ which is located at the bottom of the state, I am implying that we are the butt part of NJ(from a biological point of view) and #2 always comes out of butts which is bad so you wipe afterwords to cleanup and zombies are the bad stuff so you want to clean them up(get rid of/shoot) it was funny to me when I was thinking it over

I think the graphic should definitely incorporate a pic of NJ in it. Maybe it could be like a solid color pic of New Jersey (like from a map) and a few people(solid color) standing/kneeling/laying down with guns(they'd fit inside the pic if the state) and zombies coming from outside the border or maybe even have zombies surrounding the people. If you guys wanna make shirts for each division of NJ ZED (North, Central, South) I think it would be pretty cool to put the division on the sleeves of the t-shirt. Maybe like it could be Say what area your in then below a picture of the state of New Jersey. I always thought it was pretty cool when stuff is put on the sleeves of shirts. just throwing some ideas out there.

I know what you mean, the cost of living is wayyyy cheaper in PA. My girlfriend and I visited her family/friends up in Erie PA and it was a nice little area. We were talking with her sister and found out she pays the same amount for monthly rent as I do, only difference she has a 2 bedroom apartment and I have a single room studio Also found out her best friend has a nice little house with the upstairs & downstairs finished off 3 bedroom 1 1/2 bath, she bought that house for around 35,000 about a year ago...............a house like that in NJ wouldn't go for any less than 100,000 so yes you are correct, you can get by even if you make less $$$ then you do now

Just went to HaborSite USANA today with my girlfriend and it was $16 each for the day, and also I was told membership is $150. They guy in the office was really nice, asked if I need targets, even let me borrow his stapler. So I got a lane with 2 shooting benches to myself. It was really great, I really like the place. I think the best part was that each range was walled off by huge concrete blocks, which was cool because being the only shooter at that range I could go look at/change targets whenever I wanted to as apposed to having to wait for everyone to switch to safe. Me and the GF shot the Savage Mark II and put like 90-100 rounds through it. Then I took out my Mosin Nagant to test it, shot like 7 rounds and man that thing is sweet, it feels extremely powerful and the recoil isn't that bad at all. I think I will get the membership there because the price is very reasonable, and I like the way they have the range laid out and I had a great time

Workplace Democracy! All employees will have equal ownership/rights of the company. Then all useless board members and all other pointless big boys and whoever else has like 30x avg employee salary are no longer needed, that way all employee's will have a chance to decide what is best for the company and share profits equally rather than have big fat-cats doing whatever is necessary(lay offs/increasing employee's expected work without a raise) just to get themselves another pay raise/bonus.

there was a guy who bought 5-6 boxes of ammo today and was just given them to bring to the register himself, lol I saw him on my way out and he was still shopping around carrying the ammo in his hands.

got a call from DSG this morning and I was approved for the transfer I wasn't worried about not getting approved I was more concerned with the time it would take to do so. DSG actually said I was approved the next day but I didn't get a call from them till today all is good now. When I went to pick up my shotgun I just went ahead and bought the 22lr I wanted also to save myself from an future additional NICS $$ fee and possibly the dreaded "delay". I love both guns I purchased and will most-likely buy again from DSG when the time comes.....which isn't going to be for many months according to my girlfriend and since I got 2 guns today 1 has to be a Christmas present to myself from my girlfriend, and I actually have to wait till then to use it oh and the guy that I dealt with "Glenn" who works at the Deptford DSG is an extremely nice/cool guy. When I told him I wanted to purchase the 2 guns at once to avoid a 2nd NICS fee he says "yep I don't blame ya" so today I got the NEF Pardner Protector 12ga pump shotgun Savage Mark II GXP .22lr

man that would be awesome if you could do an in-store pickup like that order online/by phone and you get notified when your NICS clears then you go pick up your gun. Question though, say you have a delayed NICS check going at a store for a shotgun, are you allowed to have another NICS at that same store for another gun? are you allowed to do another NICS at a different store?

I paid $15 at DSG. Did you get approved for your shotgun?

apparently common names will take longer and because it's "Huntin' Season" NICS is busy/backed up. I'm guessing their just busy. I still haven't heard back from Dicks Sporting Goods about my check ........... DA_F***

wow that stinks getting delayed out of state. that would be pretty cool if they advertised as DSG only if I get some % of profits and stock options of course lol. come to think of it, when I was purchasing my gun at Cabelas the guy said I have to put my middle initial since its included in my name on my Drivers License and FID card, and I even checked its on my SS-Card like that, so I put my initial "A" only at Cabelas, when I was filling out the forms today at DSG I only put my middle initial but the guy said "write out your full middle name" which I did. I wonder if this is why I was delayed.

I went into dicks sporting goods to buy the NEF Pardner Protector 12ga shotgun. The guy took it out of the box and put a trigger lock on it and let me hold it and it was just awesome, it felt like it was assembled very well and was solid as a rock. There was a older gentleman working at the counter who was extremely nice and helpful and took the time to show me how to fill out the required forms, he pulled out the forms and says "alright lets start signing your life away just so you can buy a gun" lol. Then I went upfront and paid for my NCIS check and then went back to the lodge and he called in and like 3mins later told me I got delayed and DSG will call me if/when I am approved. This upset me a little bit because I filled out the forms as instructed, double checked my FID number was correct and I even put my SSN. I only own 1 other gun which is a Mosin Nagant 91/30 which I bought at the end of August of this year, purchased at Cabela's in PA with instant NCIS approval. Are the background checks randomly delayed? I can't think of ANYTHING that would make me fail the background check, anything as in: never been convicted, never had to appear in court for anything aside from jury duty, haven't been pulled over by a police officer in probably 7-8 months, never had any charges filed against me. U-G-H I hope I get called later tonight or tomorrow with an approval

im so glad I applied for my FID when I did. The plan was my older brother and me to apply together, then he kept delaying and I just went ahead and applied without him. Now I keep bugging him to apply because "there could be a 2-3 month wait" as a detective at the local PD said. But yea I think the FID application process just made him back down and the 60 dorrah! you gotta pay scared him away lol

thanks for the suggestions everyone, dang DevsAdvocate thats one bada$$ Remington 870 ya got there I would buy that in a second if I don't have anywhere near the funds....can't believe i've spent more on a paintball gun so I called my local dicks sport goods and their out of the NEF Pardner Protector, so I call the next nearest location and ask if they have any, they said yes, I go there, go straight to "The Lodge" and ask for it and apparently they can't sell firearms past 8pm, I dunno if this is a state law or just a dsg rule but it would have been VERY nice if they mentioned it on the phone since I called at around 8:20pm. Then talked to the manager and asked "if I go to the dsg in deptford can they special order it for me" he says "thats up to the manager in deptford" interesting policy...only can be special ordered if the manager feels like it. So then when I got home I called the dsg order by phone number and asked if they could send a firearm to the deptford dsg, they said "no but you can do a special order at any store location" very bad first time experience with dsg, I'll probably go to the deptford store monday and see if they can order it for me at the sale price and only because the sale price is good
