  1. By living in nj I think we all fail the requirement of being of sound mind.
  2. What are your favorite guns manufactures have decided to create but not sell? Ill start the list with the kel tec shotgun followed by the naa ranger and finish with the springfield xds. Ive also heard the check is in the mail so other than repeating their promises, what guns would make too much sense to sell or manufacture again ? Feel free to mention the winchester compact ranger or marlin ported 44mag lever.
  3. The April 4th, 2012 opinion piece in the Asbury Park Press, talking about the 4th amendment, said the following, "The first 10 amendments were specifically crafted to protect individuals from the abuses of government agents." Why this is huge, if you havent already figured it out, is that the media always refers to the second amendment in terms of hunting and target shooting, here they acknowledge, accidentally, the true purpose and intent of the second amendment. The next time they trash the second amendment, keep this editorial handy and remind them of what they said on this day. This really is huge, in my humble opinion.
  4. The gun print image is caused by it blocking the body heat from coming thru in the image, ways around this, carry gun off body, carry bag, etc, also wet suit material as well as reflective metallic survival blanket material will interfer with this, also carrying gun with many other items which block image will break up outline, examples which defeat total xray machines from vehicles include carrying gun in toolbox mixed in with tools to break up outline.
  5. Articles in the paper about people going after squirrels with pellet guns etc are common, you go to jail, cops go thru your house, sound like fun? and dont think about trap and drowning those squirrels, your neighbor will turn you in just for leaving squirrels in a trap too long, I recommend outside speakers blasting those voices of prominent democratic politicians giving speeches, it drives off squirrels as well as teenagers.
  6. Why cant any Republican representative or N.J. gun group take up the simple cause of getting our magazine capacity limit in this state increased from 15 rounds to 20? This would be fantastic for owners of semi autos whereas 20 round mags are common and cheap and 15 rounds are either non existent or custom, expensive, and legally suspect. Yes, we want concealed carry, and lots more, but if we cant even get this changed, with a republican gov., then we are just forever going backwards. Anyone have any thoughts, other than telling me I live in a very screwed up state and should move, ?
  7. Here goes, 357- ruger sp101 4inch "kit gun", next, s&w 351c (22 magnum snubbie), S&W 317, All great guns that anyone in your family can enjoy, as for the snubbie it conforms to the first rule of gunfighting, have a gun!, around your house, and property it gives comfort to have something, this weighs next to nothing and will be there when the rest are snug in your safe, and yes I know nothing bad could ever happen to you but bad stuff happens to anyone, anytime, especially the unprepared and those in denial. ENJOY!
  8. This gun normally holds 19 rounds, can anyone tell me what the capacity is for the ones they ship to n.j., Im hoping its not 10 rounds, maybe a shop owner knows, or someone who has purchased one. THANKS!
  9. perhaps he showed that silly piece of paper that says we have the right to keep and bear arms, oh wait, thats not recognized in new jersey, silly Americans!
  10. yes it was sure shot, I only wish I had bet them on who knew the laws better.
  11. Help! nj gun shop is trying to tell me henry mares leg is illegal in nj, doesnt anyone know nj gun laws??? good grief! its a lever action, ten shot 22, registered as a pistol from the factory, please explain where in the nj gun laws it says you cant have a lever action, ten round pistol, and please dont forget to use the nj gun laws in your response, and if you want the shops name just ask, but I really thought they knew guns-BIG MISTAKE!!!
  12. good grief guys! so much misinformation!, First off, its a stock guys, noone is going to stop it from coming to nj, you can own any stock you want, order any stock, its just a stock, understand? Now if you own an ar and you have an offensive stock, that combination of ownership becomes the big question, so the threads on this issue are so incorrect that the topic is still relevant and worthy of discussion. Anyone care to backup the njsp position with a letter from them?
  13. while the slide fire stock makes many uneasy in nj it is very big everywhere else, just check youtube, etc., some say its alot of money, really? how much do you spend on guns, scopes, etc??, the other argument is its not accurate, again, check youtube, its not like bumpfire from the waist, now the big nut, is it legal in nj, well I quess the nj supreme court would be the last word on that, as for opinions, well everyone has one, dont they? I believe it to be legal based on the definition of a telescoping stock in various dictionaries, will that matter to people who dont care about that, who just want to give you grief out of jealousy? probably not, although I think nj gun owners need to get alot more backbone if we ever intend on moving forward.
  14. Rumor mill says n.j. politicians working on reducing allowable capacity ban to ten rounds?? I would like to think this is just the result of a passing radiation cloud over trenton, but after a politcian tried to put license plates on bicycles, well nothing suprises me anymore in n.j.

  15. strictly a nostril caliber, I agree, but then look how dangerous nj treats bb guns, maybe they know something we dont.
  16. the streets are safer because alot of weapons were taken from one man?, Many chiefs would like to empty all our safes, this chief sounds dangerous as well as the person with too much time on their hands shooting from a sunroof, maybe he was training for blackwater, not.
  17. n.j. considers these to be strictly a mind altering weapon, in that if you owned it you might take out a city block, silently of course, but these and so many other items are just too much for the crazy and irresponsible citizens of n.j. Next time you go check out the full auto bb guns, awesome untill you realize those are not allowed here either. Really want to have your eyes wide? go to a PA gun show, machine guns, sawed off shotguns, it will leave you breathless, and what seperates us from them? a river and a whole lot of common sense. Theyve got it, our politicians dont.
  18. happy holiday, sorry but its the p.c. way.
  19. well since no one else is going to think of it, and I hate to give the bad guys the inside scoop, but did anyone ever see a western movie? well those guns had six rounds, but damn if those bright fellas didnt think one day to double their capacity by drawing both guns! The nut in arizona simply could have drawn a second gun, screw the reloading, its called a new york reload, but now Ive let the cat out of the bag.
  20. do you need a v8 engine? do you need a motorcycle? do you need two computers? two tvs? do you need a large house? what size magazine would you like to have if you were stuck in Cairo right now, assuming you were lucky enough to have stolen one of the guns from the abandoned police stations?, I trust my fellow citizens alot more than I trust politicians. Did you know the federal govt. has been controlling machine guns owned by civilians since 1934 and guess what? since 1934 0nly ONE legally owned machine gun has been misused (and he was a cop), so its not the weapon or the capacity that matters. Free countries dont tell the public what they NEED (well, liberals do, but lets not talk politics).
