Interesting thread...Ever since joining this forum i have been getting the itch to pick up another pistol. Been considering the RO 1911. Overall i have heard good things. Will probably read this thread over again while i consider what i want to pick up . gonna search around see what else i cant find about them on here. Always great info on here.

I've never had a truly bad experience at a gun shop YET. I have seen some know-it-all attitudes at some places. For the most part whenever I have gone to buy a gun I will only go if they have it in stock to look at and if i'm ready to buy. However though it's been awhile since I have even went to buy a gun. ( bills can really get in the way of buying things on the "I WANT IT LIST")

Wonder if other Dicks will be doing the same? Did walmart in NJ ever sell Hunting,ammo, etc?

That is sweet. I've gotten to shoot the 500 and the 460 in the past. They are a beast of a pistol but overall are very enjoyable to shoot. Congrats on the 500

I have a P220 with a SRT trigger, the standard trigger isn't horrible but nothing beats the SRT. However it really depends on what works best for you.

New to the whole forum thing so i'm still getting use to posting, etc. So i'll probably just be sitting back watching how things work for a bit. Been shooting on and off for about five years now. I float in and out of hobbies pretty often so I firgured joining up here will help keep me shooting. So just saying hi and looking forward to being a member.
