  1. Yeah I think that's the right way just bummed that I'll never make it in.
  2. I'd be down for a meet up. Has anyone considered RTSP?
  3. I'd go but I really don't know anyone who is going
  4. be careful and enjoy.
  5. I'll take you up on that. How much notice do you need?
  6. You can buy a gun and not ship it thru an ffl? I am assuming long gun only.
  7. Has anyone checked it out? It's less than an hour from my house and I've heard the have reloading supplies. Worth the trip?
  8. I live in Montville right off Horseneck maybe 2 miles from that range. I'd love to learn that sport but I've been intimidated to go there and I can't figure out why. I'd be happy to buy cigars, beer, whatever if someone wants to take me thru paces.
  9. Wow 226 folks on the waiting list and number one was 25 months ago.
  10. Hmmm.....that's a really long wait. I belong at RTSP but I really like outdoor shooting. Maybe I should fill out the application and drive to PA and cherry ridge for the next couple years while I wait. I like Cherry Ridge but it looks like the ranges are rented out every weekend this summer which sucks for me. The fee look steep at Shongum but if it's nice I wouldn't mind paying them at all. However, that's not happening in the near term as you point out.
  11. Can anyone who is a member give me some insight to the club? How to join, how crowded, difficulty in joining? Do they do family memberships? Cheers, Rob
  12. BTW, you can get a digital caliper new at home depot for less than 30 bucks. What else do you need? Do you have a press, powder measure, scale, etc?
  13. AS350Driver, thank you very much for the response.
  14. I have brand new lee dies .223 that I haven't used (I ended up with two sets). LMK.
  15. I just saw another post you made where you gave your recipe with the VV powders and the xtreme bullets. According to the load data I have 4.0 grains is the starting load for FMJ where as the plated bullets is 3.8 with the high end being 4.2 grains. My concern is that the starting grains for the W231 is 4.2 grains for FMJ and no load data listed for copper plated. I will probably order some VV N320 before using the bullets. Thank you for the information.
  16. What type of powder are you using with that?
  17. Thanks that's a good chart. It only shows one 124gr load and a bunch of 125gr. My big concern is I have copper plated bullets and I am not sure if the load like lead or something else.
  18. What type of bullets (brand, coating, shape)? I have some xtreme copper plated bullets in 124 gr and can't find load data with w231.
  19. I was looking through the various recipes for something for my two 9mm pistols (Glock 34 G4, Barretta 92FS). I am 124gr rn bullets but the book shows most discontinued from manufacture and also doesn't list any recipes using W231. What gives? What's the best place to find a proper load, the powder website? Cheers
  20. I may have a nice on I'd part with for a very reasonable price. 20" colt barrel, young chrome match bolt, titanium firing pin. I'm trying to save up enough to buy that FN .308 for sale or I wouldn't consider it. PM if interested in details.
  21. W231 is good for .45. You can google it and it will tell you which calipers its good for.
  22. 223 brass. As well as the scale and caliper. IM sent.
