  1. Anthony, I know you said no questions but this one I believe applies to many people on this forum. These requirements: – NRA Beginner Pistol: 4 hour course with classroom and range time. No firearm needed. Click Here. – Private One on One: 2 hours with our top instructors. You will need to bring your own firearm. Click Here. – Holster Draw: 4 Hour course you can take only if you have taken the NRA Basics of Pistol. Click Here. – Urban Pistol 1: 4 hour course you can take only after you have taken Holster Draw. Click Here. Are they necessary prior to taking your course? I have the NRA first steps certificate and I have shot IDPA in the past, but I have no proof of any other training.
  2. Well, I pulled the trigger, ordered an IWB Holster, OWB Paddle holster, and a IWB mag holder from legacy firearms. They are expensive but they have good reviews on youtube and they were the only company that I have been able to find to have exactly what I needed, with a 30 business day turnaround. They also started their July 4th sale, 17.76% off all orders.
  3. Thanks, that's all I needed to know
  4. how about small of back carry? Any thoughts on that?
  5. So I have been searching for the last few days, and I did not find a single company that makes a hybrid holster for a VP9 with TLR-7A.
  6. I'm a bit confused. Is the current application form still good, or will NJ be coming out with a new form?
  7. Anyone have experience with the T1 XIPHOS V2? Fully custom for under $100. Tier 1 Concealed
  8. That is the old methodology. IBM came out with zOS connect about 5 years ago. You can now have restful APIs hosted in CICS which can be accessed by any platform on the network. I have been coding in cobol for over 25 years. A lot has changed in that time period.
  9. If it were written in cobol it would work better then any distributed app
  10. I've been wearing the 5.11 casual leather belt for years, because my gut kept stretching regular belts. I will be getting another a few sizes larger.
  11. My issue isn't lack of training. My issue is that none of my training is officially documented, I have no completion documents for any training besides the NRA first steps course. The only documentation I have to prove my proficiency is my IDPA level, which is also around 3 years old.
  12. As mentioned before, once we have our NJ license we can get a PA non-res license and use PAs reciprocity. But I am hoping that the big 3 asshole states, NY, NJ, and CT might accept each other's permits.
  13. Ok, so I have a neighbor who is a tactical firearms instructor he is originally from NJ but has been living in GA, he came back to NJ a short while ago. He doesn't do CCW training anymore, but he offered to provide me with tactical training. He however let his USCCA instructor credentials in NJ lapse. I know that NJ probably will not accept his his certification because his instructor credentials lapsed. But will it be enough to satisfy the "Basic Pistol Course" requirements prior to taking a NJ qualification course?
  14. Didn't Thomas' decision also include something to the order of not allowing states to take advantage of "sensitive area" restrictions?
  15. Is that different the the first steps pistol course? It was a 4 hour course with range time
  16. I just signed up to get notified. It'll be a long drive, but well worth it.
  17. So I do have a blade-tech total eclipse IWB/OWB holster now, which has wings similar to a hybrid holster. it is thin plastic so it does curve around to conform to my body, but it is super uncomfortable in all position. If a hybrid holster has similar characteristics then it's not for me. Edit: I know, it look like i'm flagging myself. I checked it 5 times before taking the photo. And i'm sitting on a chair so it's actually point at the floor.

Hornady critical defense is what I plan on using. I better start stocking up to practice with
  19. Here is another question. Will we be able to leave our pistols in the car if we need to go into a building that does not allow guns?
  20. So more double standards, but by ranges now not the state. From what i've seen before, most if not all ranges allow LEs and RPOs to draw from the holster. If we end up having to pass the same qualification, what makes us more of a liability then an LE or RPO?
  21. It's a good thing I have no social media posts. But here is another question. Will local ranges allow holster draw for those with CCW?
  22. Ok, so if I dump the light then I can go with then I can go with the cross breed supertuck. I also looked at the MTAC but it appears to be thicker then the supertuck. Anyone have experience with either?

It might be, but at the moment it's the smallest semi-auto I have. Will be looking for something smaller when I have the funds.
