  8. I own a handgun bought legally in Florida many years ago. Since then I moved back to N.J. and recently started firing the handgun at my range. What would be the process for getting a conceled carry permit. I already possess a FID card and am a hunter. Thanks in advance. gh

  12. Thanks and I just bought the Mossberg 535 combo pump 12 ga. camo. Just switched barrels to the rifled one for my deer hunting season soon to be here. Thanks to all who answered here. Much appreciated gh
  13. So in state I'm okay as there is an outdoor range about twenty-five minutes from my house. No need to reregister this handgun with the police? Thank you once again. gh
  14. Thank you for the quick reply. One more question. Can I transport it to a gun range either in state or out of state (N.Y.) as I live five minutes from the N.Y. state border and close to a N.Y. gun range (within ten minutes) in a locked gun box where it currently resides? Thank you again. gh
  15. I am a citizen of N.J. and have been most of my life. I did live in Florida for five years and while there bought a handgun for home defense and for target shooting. After moving back, several years ago, I never registered the gun nor do I use it. Please tell me what steps are that I need to take in order to be in line with N.J. regs. I already possess a FID card and own and have owned several long guns and am a hunter. Thanks for you time. gh
  16. Thanks to all you guys for the honest and quick replies. gh
  17. Ground blind, pump shotgun, 12 ga. So far my heart's set on a Browning BPS Hunter simply for it's bottom ejection being a natural lefty. Also like the Mossberg 835 Ultra Mag with deer/turkey barrels in camo pattern. Other than those two I am looking for a few more suggestions so when I drive to Cabelas in PA, I'll have options if they're out of stock on one or another. Thanks. gh
  18. Gander Mtn. in Middletown N.Y. gh
  19. What are your thoughts on the best turkey/deer 12 ga. shotgun for under $600 . Thanks in advance gh
  20. Looking for some good hunting spots in Zone 2 (Sussex Cty) WMA or free public land. Anyone know of such spots and directions for getting there? Also, can one still buy Tags for December's deer hunt? I thought if anyone knew of some really good sites. Thanks in advance for a new hunter. gh
