  1. +1. I understand that the OP is trying to convey technology should be able to prevent this kind of thing from happening, but bottom line (which has already been pointed out) is bad people will ALWAYS find a way to do bad things.
  2. Ray, Thanks for the heads up on the video's I had no idea I could fine tune it. I also Purchased a Lula for my PT92 mags... just another great time and thumb saver. Dan
  3. So I see there is a topic about this from 2009, but I happened to stumble on this reading another forum. Just a testament, if you have any of the below pistols, you need to buy this. It is out of control fast to load my MK III Hunter, now I just need more ammo. Package says; For Ruger II, Mark III, and Hunter, 22/45, Colt Woodsman Mag., Old Military High Standard, Newer High Standard, Browning Buckmark Pistols, and Stoeger Luger .22 cal. Made in the USA too (PA). Dan

  5. love the look of it. Taurus, if nothing else, makes a fine looking pistol IMO.
  6. Mini mags are copper washed, blazers aren't. Both are listed at 1235 fps (round nose), also I have also noticed more leading with the blazers.
  7. See you up there, I will be signing up as well. Dan
  8. Bullets do make everything explode... http://www.cracked.com/article_18576_5-ridiculous-gun-myths-everyone-believes-thanks-to-movies.html?wa_user1=3&wa_user2=Movies+%26+TV&wa_user3=article&wa_user4=recommended
  9. Im in the same boat, two pistols that I am very interested in now. The ruger may have the advantage in my mind... if for nothing other than the price
  10. It looks like a fun plinker, and the slide is a monster upgrade from the zinc to aluminum (compared to the look alike Walther P22). I was thinking about the P22 but it seems that this is a better gun overall, including price.
  11. A Big Thanks to Mike a Tri-State! I made the hike up to vernon tonight looking for my first handgun and he had the beauty below in his used stock. If anyone is up in the area, or just wants to take a ride up to the cool little shop... its definitely worth the trip! Mike is a guy who knows his stuff, is extremely helpful, and made my first buying experience painless. https://www.facebook...173035409386209 Tri-State Firearms Exchange, LLC 280 Rt 94 Vernon, NJ Taurus PT 92 AFS
  12. Thanks guys, I was going tonight anyway for the monthly stock up... but yes, they did not have any on hand. I did however look at their catalog and was less than impressed. I may just wait for CL or Ebay, but will visit Dicks and Cabela's when I have some time. Dan
  13. Thank you for all the replies! I am heading to Costco tonight to see what they have in stock, and I will definitely be getting one bigger than I think I need. Dan
  14. Lk Hiawatha, under Parsippany Jurisdiction. Ill be posting about my experience separately.... incredibly fast.
