Stossel On Why Gun Control Doesn't Work
pjd832 replied to NJScott's topic in Firearm Hobby / Sport Discussion
i like the stossel! -
More like conditioning....ban guns... Have storm troopers in full load outs everywhere...welcome to police state 2013....I'm sure a lot have seen this as its been around a while...its over the top and playing into the conspiracy theory crowd...but it's a scary thought and with all the blatant bs being pushed in opposition of common sense...kinda make me wonder... Lol http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E8PnkeKmcZw&feature=youtube_gdata_player

Gunsmith that can thread a barrel, permanently install muzzle brake
pjd832 replied to Atlas's topic in Gunsmithing
If u go to pws's site there is a letter for each of the fsc devices from the batf... Stating they are not a flash suppressor ... As others have suggested in other threads about these print out the letter and stick it in the rifle case...not a guarantee of walking away but a better shot than nothing lol -
Any shops in south jersey change pinned muzzle devices?
pjd832 replied to pjd832's topic in AR Discussion
Yes pk it had a hole ......once I got the old one off (2 pins not one) the new one was easy to pin/fill once I finally found the right combo of shims to get the rotation correct lol -

Well the answer is yes if you ever come across a windham weaponry factory installed birdcage ... It's double pinned top and bottom... And there is a bushing on the barrel to make it larger for some odd reason lol -

Ok birdcage cut off turns out it was double pinned.... Top and bottom.... Now it's off but the barrel has what appears to be a threaded bushing on it making it too big for the pws fsc556 I'm trying to put on... Is this right I've never had a bushing on it before -

Tried the heat already no bueno.... I have done this before and just dremmel till pin is wiggly strong magnet it pops out remove and reinstall and pin new brake.... This is crazy... I think I'm into the barrel threads... Unless there's a bushing inside the windham installed birdcage -
Im throwing in the towel and looking for help now lol...I thought it would be easy enough... Slowly grind the weld until the pin falls out .. Like on YouTube lol... Well I did that and I saw the pin.... Tried a VERY strong magnet and lightly tapping at the same time...and repeated over and over to no avail an am to the threads and it still won't turn.... It's a factory installed birdcage brake on a windham weaponry carbine length 556 if that means anything... Advice/reccomendations of someone close to Salem county...

Nope sarcasm ...why would it be in his trunk if he was using it to commit atrocities?
-
Maybe he used up all the "high capacity clips" he had for the ebr and went to his car and locked it in the trunk for safety then returned to the building?... Sounds logical (sarcasm)

As a repeat customer...Wanted to let everybody know tb is a standup guy, and a pleasure to do business with! Even with the current situation and gouging going on everywhere including from our own on this site trying to justify with bs excuses ... Tackleberry 03 stands apart as one of the few on here or anywhere for that matter not trying to take advantage of their own people selling at 3-5 times actual worth.... For that hats off to you sir! And look forward to future transactions have a safe and happy new year

I disagree ... He should have never seen dawn following his conviction... They need to bring back capital punishment for serious crimes.. Not house animals on our dime only to let them out to do it again....the fact that it's basically become do whatever you want and there's no real punishment is a major factor in crime/murder increases

pjd832 replied to diamondd817's topic in Firearm Hobby / Sport Discussion
after reading that article in its entirity..i wish every single american was made to read it...perhaps being its mainstream and not an nra/propaganda source the "wishy washy go alongs with what they hear on the news" might start to think for themselves...and stand up for the founding principles of this country....wishfull thinking i know since it isnt something that will affect them today..they wont care... -

I never looked st my mags that closely... But other plastic item have a date code "cast in " to the plastic...construction Hard hats have such a code on the underside of the bill/ visor -
My guess is they will "c.y.a."... And not do anything without a direct approval regardless of federal law ... After all everyone knows nj/state laws supersede federal (sarcasm)
-
that stupid proposed awb lets say it was in place before ct....it wouldnt have stopped it....the problem is not the gun its the sick people...the criminals that beat their grandmother to death with a hammer...do some jail then get let out,.... to shoot firemen...the solution is to thin the herd...dont store the garbage...destroy it...so it doesnt infect others
-
although the your example made me laugh...im not talking about or ever suggested a shootout at all......simply that most people talk a great game...but then when its time to stand up for whats right ...they will make excuses...... as in the thread ray ray linked and just accept the stiripping of our basic constitutional rights because "well ..ok ill do something else i guess"...missing the big picture.. if there were no firearms....criminals woiuld use knives(alot already do ie: china guy hacked up kids same day as ct..in the great gun free safe world) or bows or a hammer...where does the taking away things stop and the real problems get dealt with...seriously
-
evil people are going to do evil things....humans have been harming other humans since the begining of time...ive never for one second thought any new law or restriction up to and including total disarmament of america would stop murder....they will still find a way to do it...if its bashing your head in with a rock itll still happen if you dont punish properly
