  1. Rmj berserker is on the list. Looking for similar ootions. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  2. Been looking at tomahawks and want to buy a good quality one. Use a Benchmade as an edc knife. Looking for suggestions as to what I should look for. Budget pretty liberal, but won't go past 1k. What say you NJGF? Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

    Questions on M&P 9

I have a M&P CORE set up for both 9 and 40 for sale in the marketplace. It looks like you are right next to me, if you want to meet up at the range and try it out let me know.
  5. She hasn't complained about six figures worth of guns/optics/accessories over the past several years so if I get out of this for 3k or more I am good with that lol. She is the frugal one so if she goes for it I am happy to oblige. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  6. LOL We have been together forever, will get married eventually. Can't be any more expensive than the gun hobby!
  7. Thanks for the input Howard! I think we would definitely fall into the newbie category. I do have a good Manfrotto carbon fiber tripod with 11ty adjustments on it I use for my spotter that we can put to use for this as well. I will look into quality lenses once we get accustomed to this one. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  8. Thanks for the input guys! Looks like I will go with the 3400 and return the 7200.
  9. Now you are speaking my language. Camera will be used on vacations, to take pics of our dog, crap we do on the weekends, etc. We might get caught in rain but it won't be a wet weather camera so to speak. The full body cameras looked substantially more expensive and I figured one of these would be a good starter. At $500 vs $1350 plus tax I was willing to go with the 7200 if there was a substantial quality difference for the price increase. Hence buying both. I knew I could return one before Xmas. Unless someone can come up with other reasons the 7200 is worth the coin I guess I will return that one. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  10. HI guys, Looking for advice on which model I should keep. Purchased both on bf sales as potential Xmas gifts for the gf. Will be used for recreational use. Both came with 2 lenses. 3400 came with 18-55 and 70-300, 7200 came with 18-55 and 55-300. Wondering if the 7200 is worth the $900 difference between the models. Obviously I read the spec sheets between the two but camera speak isn't really my lingo. Any input is appreciated. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk

You do need a special purpose badge (which I have). All that entails is going to a board meeting, agreeing that you will only shoot prone, be mindful of other shooters, and stop shooting if anyone complains. If you agree to that you get your badge and away you go. I have had several members come up to me and tell me I can't shoot that there but once I show them the badge and remind them the bylaws were amended I never had an issue past that. 12. I just looked it up and you are right. At least they put a tensioner in it to eliminate the wobble. Still have the wobble from the issue plastic j arm attached to the unit though. The g11 mount probably eliminates 80% of the slop associated with a issue j arm and rhino mount though. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  13. ^ that's awesome HE! I just saw a brand new G11 for 225 or best offer. Not sure if that's a good price or not on it bc I haven't researched them. If you want the link let me know. Look into the Norotos dual dovetail adapter as well. If you get that and the G11 you will have a rock solid mount with no wobble anywhere. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  14. 50bmg would be brutal indoors. When I shoot it on the hp range at CJ ppl come over from the shotgun field to see what's going on... MK6 is good glass congrats on the purchase! It is as clear or more so than more expensive counterparts. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  15. I will send you a pm with places to look and what to look for. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

  17. I have 2 amber filters on the way and decided to go with the matbock tarsier eclipse over the hoplite. They are on their way as well. I also have a surefire IR light for the helmet inbound. I have the dbal a2/peq15a as my IR laser/illuminator. Same guts as a peq15 but in the more durable metal housing. The bridge was 550 and you can find the g24 mounts around 250-300 if you are patient. Certainly cheaper than buying a Sentinel or pvs15. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  18. Wilcox mount came in today. Much happier with the g24 vs the Norotos AKA2. Wilcox sits much closer to the helmet and when folded it is a much smaller profile. Shout out to Mod Armory in Colorado Springs. Small company that makes great products and has excellent customer service. If you are looking into NV give them a call and talk to Nicole. She knows the products inside and out and we even went back and forth on pros/cons of different IR lasers when she knew I already owned one that fit my needs. Pics with the g24. 19. Agreed. Next house will have a secure room with a vault door. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk

    M82A1 or M107A1

I've owned both the 82 and 107. In my opinion the 107 is worth the extra coin. 5lb lighter and has an improved recoil system. Fit and finish is also better. The rifle is surprisingly comfortable to shoot, I put 70rd through it last range trip and my shoulder was good the next day. At one point I had an 82a1 and 2 m107a1s but I am down to just the one m107a1 now. I probably should have hung on to the others lol. If you want to shoot it let me know. CJ goes to 340yd which doesn't really stretch it out but will give you an idea what it can do. Also, the BORS system is the tits, but the mk4 that comes on most of the rifles leaves a lot to be desired. Spring for the s&b pm2 BORS system if you are ordering from the factory. Howell Gun Works is where I bought mine. They are a Barrett dealer and Tom is an avid Barrett enthusiast and owns one himself. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  21. Having gone through a fire recently I will never use plastic ammo cans again. Everything in issue metal cans made it out A OK, everything in plastic cans was a melted cooked off mess. Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  22. If you know where to look and are patient you can put together a setup like this for way less than 10k. You could probably do it for less than half of that. Sent from my SM-N910V using Tapatalk
  23. Might be a small group on here but curious what kind of NVG setups you guys are running. I recently decided to get another pvs14 and run a dual setup with a bridge mount. Love the added depth perception but found that my helmet mount (norotos AKA2) did not allow the pvs14s to fully fold onto the helmet. I ordered a new mount (wilcox g24) which should fix the issue. G24 puts the units higher up and closer to the helmet when folded. Alternative is a pvs15 or Sentinel setup but I like the option of running a monocular on either eye and having each qd vs having a traditional bino setup. My setup: (2) Omni V ITT PVS14 Mod Armory bridge mount Norotos AKA2 helmet mount (being replaced with wilcox g24) Dupont 3A high cut ballistic helmet w/ wilcox universal shroud Ops Core counterweight What are you guys running? It's an expensive game to be in and want to know what is working for you guys... Sent from my SM-T580 using Tapatalk
  24. I have a new Aimpoint m4s that has the carry handle mount which doesnt obstruct the use of the handle. If interested PM me. Looks like this mounted:
  25. Looking at new hearing protection for myself, gf, ppl I take to the range. Already ordered the ComTac 3 for myself. Wondering if there is anything similar in quality but not as expensive to get for ppl that don't shoot as often? I had Howard Leight non electronic muffs I was using but after trying a guys ComTac I was sold. Wondering what else is out there that is similar. Thanks for any help!
