  3. I have been doing my part since the beginning. I swear this is the worst experience that I have ever had to deal with. All I want to do is be able to protect my family if needed.
  4. if you think 10 days for NICS is bad, you are lucky you don't live in Essex county where no resident of the county is able to get a FPID, or a P2P since hurricane Sandy. It's over 4 months now...

  10. I don't think they like us calling but it is our right to do so. If someone doesn't answer wait 10 minutes and call back. Lets us know what they have to say. Ask them if they are starting next week as planned.

  12. I called. She told me she didn't know and they are told that the record restoration was complete yet they have no records to search. I was polite, she appogized and that was that.. I am contacting my mayor and town counsel next.
  13. Did anyone call today? I am planning on doing so sometime during the day. We should get multiple people to call and compare notes.
  14. If it helps the emails were sent out on Feb 24 & 25th. I agree with KpdPipes I think this was a communication to the NJ2AS membership, not the general public.

  17. I have not called again. Why wait for next week? Try today. I have always had good luck getting through in the morning.
  18. We have smoke & cm detectors already so that is not a concern for me. Also the monthly fee is about half of what ADT charges. What I don't know is the level of coverage they will provide if the alarm ever goes off and also how good or bad the window and door sensors are. Thanks again guys!
  19. Yeah they allow you to buy extra sensors ect.. As you need. The thing that grabbed my attention is that there is no yearly contract involved.
  20. Anyone here using this system? http://simplisafe.com I heard about this system through people at work it it seems like the reviews online are very positive for the most part. You install the system yourself and you are not tied into a yearly contract like ADT, ect... Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Carl
