  11. Hello all. I have found a brand new Colt 14.5 barrel he's asking 200.00 with the front site base included. Is this a good price? How does it compare to a spikes or BCM of the same length?
  12. If your looking for something decent but not to pricy your local Walmart carries the Winchester and blackhawk bipods for around 50 bucks. I agree with the other posters that a Harris is the main workhorse and top notch but at a hundred bucks you'll need to decide. I have a Harris on my ar and its awesome. I bought a blackhawk at Wally world for my crossbow and I was hey surprised went back out and got another one for my 22 bolt gun. For the price it can't be beat.....
  13. Hey big blue. Would you be interested in selling a cam pin firing pin and cotter pin?
  14. Oh shit I just bought a Stoner bolt.....eeeks......
  15. REALLY!!!! Lets be smart people. Empty a mag in them drag them into your dwelling and put a kitchen knife in there hands.....WTF.. And about the zip ties. It was a general objective answer. As always these are dynamic situations in which the totality of the situation dictates what you do and how you would respond. Its hard to explain between what a non trained civilian would do compared to what a trained individual would do.
  16. If your serious about engaging an intruder in your home I would advise you to get some type of restraints eather a set of handcuff or maybe some zip ties. If you want more details. Pm me. Just remember that when patrol gets on scene put the gun down and follow there commands. They will probably have you prone out too. Also tell dispatch that You are armed and give them a really good description of what you look like and what you are wearing. You don't want to be misidentified by the police. Hope this helps. Disclaimer. This info is not training but just a what would I do in a possible situation.

    NJ NICS

That's really sad.....was in PA a few weeks ago I won a rifle in a raffle I entered. Took nics less than 5 mins. So what's the problem here???????
  18. Hello. Ive had a Kimber stainless compact for the last 13 years. I use it mainly as my off duty weapon this gun is super reliable as long as you use good mags. I use the Chip McCormick pro mags and they run great no problems. Must have close to 7000 rounds thru her and the only thing I change is the captive recoil spring. About every 3000 rounds. Its a bit of a pain but it keeps her running. The trigger from the factory was nice and crisp with no take up. The gun prints well under clothing and isn't really heavy. I added a set of Trijcon sites and a crimson trace laser grip. Awesome self defense weapons. Just remember that your carrying this weapon in condition one, cocked and locked. You will get alot of people asking ' hey do you know that the hammer is back' uhhhh. Yeah. Anyway I know the prices have gone up since I bought mine but like always say what's you or your family's life worth......just an fyi..... the Kimber slides and recivers are forged. By Smith and Wesson........hope this helps.
