question to ask (Taken from Dave live chat): Governor, I applaud your common sense approach to governing. Why is that same common sense not applied to NJ gun laws? Why can't law abiding citizens who have passed state and federal background checks be afforded the opportunity to carry? "May issue" with "justifiable need" is a joke. Why is Bill S269 sitting idle since last January?

Since everyone seems to be running out with their tails between their legs.. Is anyone actually going to be around to fight this? Who's on our side on these topics? Let's stop talking about the gun grabbers and start cheer-leading the people that actually matter. Which political figures are fighting this crap the loudest right now? Who's our representative in Gun RIGHTS? We need a list.. if it exists.

We need to have some voices/reps willing to push for Gun Rights! CCW, open carry, all of it. We all sit around waiting to see what happens next, "how will they try to take our guns away this time"... let's hold our breathe... AGAIN?!?! It's time to push back, ENOUGH is ENOUGH! HELL NO to taxes, HELL NO to bans, VOTE OUT anyone who denies us OUR rights or even considers it! I want more Gun Rights in THIS STATE! I was born and raised in New Jersey, and I don't want to find this elsewhere!

Push them back into the hole they came from and tell them to stick their tax. Someone needs to propose more gun rights for us.. CCW, Open Carry.. push more and stop bending over to see who's sticking what in next.

Hi everyone! I purchased my first handgun in November (Ruger P95 w/15 round mags) and have been to the CJPARrlsa;k You know, I need to get those range names figured out.. Central Jersey Pistol/rifle range.. the one in Jackson, thanks to my bro-in-law. (CJRPC .. just looked it up, loved it! going to join it soon) I've been stalking this forum since end of September waiting on my FPID/PP.. Which only took 6 weeks (2 weeks after Sandy) Plan on getting classes for my myself, wife and son right after I get my membership for the range. Looking forward to a new hobby. :-)
